It should be fun to see Fidget try to push through Darkest Dungeon. Here are my top three tips.
>Upgrade the carriage first. Don't be afraid to fire people instead of sending them to be de-stressed, especially if they have a bunch of diseases and bad traits. It can take weeks and thousands of gold to restore someone relatively worthless to workable condition instead of just hiring new adventurers. Don't worry - escaping the Hamlet with their lives is reward enough. Save that money for keeping your best adventurers upgraded properly - very important.
>Curios are the things you find in hallways, most of them have a neutral or bad effect some have a minor good effect. HOWEVER, you can insert an item into most, and if you choose the correct item, it guarantees a positive result. Example, locked chest -> key. Selecting the right items for the proper curios (and planning which to bring when you depart) can make a huge difference in health and profitability.
