Seems like embedding was disabled as a result of the recent server issues. I also noticed that posts with embedded videos made before the server issues did not survive. Was this intentional or a glitch?
Alright, I'm just glad to have clarification on it. I'd help find an alternative but I don't know shit about Java.
Can /unf/ please get a dicerolling function?
fabulous text shows up as an unreadable rainbow block on my mobile
Sorry for being late about this, just got back from NJ and now I have access to my desktop. Much easier to work on that rather then my thinkpad.
Ok so, I will try and see what's up with it. I do have the issue on the stock browser on my S3, android firefox beta seems to handle it fine. Messed up rainbows on mobile added to the fix it list.
This isn't an issue, but something that would be nice to have. There is a limit of how many characters a post can have, I can't remember how many to be exact, but it is annoying when you go over that limit and not know. 4chan has something pop up when you go over the limit that tells you how many you have and how many you are allowed. I know that there has to be a limit of some sort, but when you are doing a big post, such as in a quest, it's just something that slows you down.
Good idea, I will see what I can pull together. Been a bit lazy with things lately.
Oh and the character limit here is 3600 which should be more then double that of 4chan.
>>10This should work now~
If that is still a block clear your browsers cache.
Macil got back to me while I was sleeping and now everything should be in working ordered.
I'm not seeing any spoilered image covers. I can't tell there's an image unless I click the file.ext
A rogue backslash was causing the problem
So whenever I try to go to the second page of any board, it displays the first page again. What's up with that?
Or alternatively it just shifts the threads a little forward, pushing the top-most threads and reloading a few from the next page instead.
Settings, Quick Reply and everything relateed to them (image expansion, spoiler revealing, styles…) stopped working on Opera Mobile
Posting gifs sometimes fails with the error 'Failed to resize image'
Ok seems GraphicsMagick was causing the issue. Not sure why finally thought I had it installed correctly.
Site seems to be having some issues with phones, plus I've noticed on my PC that trying to quote a post reloads the entire page instead of opening QR. I have "use QR" enabled, and have now enabled persistent QR, so we'll see if it affects that, too.
Ever since the update last night none of the built-in scripts for the site seem to be working for me. It's not even letting me quote posts.
Alright I just purged cloudflare's cache for all the urls that link here, now just got to clear your cache and restart browser and see if that fixes it.
The auto updater is currently broken. I constantly have the problem that new posts do not show up unless I force a cache refresh.
Could you take a look at that? It's kinda annoying when you can never be sure if its working or not and still have to ctrl+f5 all the time.
It should be working again, I think it was something cloudflare did with default options.
Images aren't being posted when posting with QR, but they do work without QR.
Quick Reply refuses to upload images and submits the post without the file.
Has it? I'm still having trouble on /qt/ at least. I tried clearing my cache, but the issue persists.
Still a problem for me.
Not sure what broke or how, I am not having an issue on my laptop. I will have to look into it. Sorry guys.
It was fine for me until I updated my Firefox, then it broke.
I am starting work on moving the site to a new version of TinyBoard that still has developers. It should eliminate my rigged up system I got going on here. May take a week or 2 but in the long run it should be better. Also I am on the newest stable firefox and QR doesn't seem to have issues on my end I am not sure why things are breaking.
It can't come fast enough.
If you press enter after you've typed the captcha it opens the "choose a file…" box instead of posting the post. Do you think you could fix that?
…or they work here but not in /art/ or /unf/
Getting a lot of 'Your post looks automated' or 'You look like a bot' errors for some reason.
Also, I suggest implementing a pass system which allows people to bypass these Captchas for the sake of convenience.
Can't enable QR for some reason.
Captcha doesn't automatically refresh.
Can we just go back to the old script please
I know it doesn't work on Firefox but whatever
I know there has been a lot of issues with the new update. Way more then I expected. Within the next day or 2 I will be setting up a dev site that anyone that wants to help fix things can participate. Ideally fix the bot issue and port over mlpchan.net's scrips for vichan. I would like to do away with the captcha but for right now it is the only thing stopping the floods. I am still very adamant about keeping this place running to the best of my ability work has just been killing me as of late. I ask for your patience and apologize for the mess.
Set up a development board. Will be making a thread regarding this in a bit.http://scootabutt.org/dev/res/1.html
I wouldn't necessarily say its broken, but is there some way to automatically 'activate' the quick reply after I opened it by clicking on a post-number? I always start typing and then it takes me around the thread through the search function rather than starting to insert the text into the QR text field.
Things are being worked on over at test.mlpg.co
The quest archive page is broken.
When will the locator be updated to remove the marker?
I didn't make the locator how to make it not reliant on the marker is beyond me.
Post the code and I'll do it if you want.
Sure have a crack at it, this would make it a bit more reliable.http://pastebin.com/XqERJA41http://pastebin.com/smyy0Zcu
- /go/ version
That's some messy code, but this should work.http://pastebin.com/3kp657C4http://pastebin.com/b8rZtq1h
Just made it so checkForMarkerFromThreadJson() always returns true.
I figured out how to fix the whole excessive cache thing.
Add this to .htaccess:
ExpiresDefault "access plus 0 seconds"
This is set up and seems to be working fine.>>2003
Excessive cache thing?
Also running Nginx so no .htaccess file.
Sorry on the late replies I really need to get back in the swing of things.
You might have noticed people complaining about the thread updater not working (it doesn't work for me either sometimes), this is because the site sets a "vary" header but no "expires" header so browsers just load pages from the browser cache if they exist.
Here's the nginx equivalent to add an expires header, put it anywhere in the http block:
Also here's a fix for the locator linking to the wrong thread.http://pastebin.com/6LUNuenEhttp://pastebin.com/npgKTYyJ
