I've heard similar answers a lot from people who aren't sure how to begin taking commission work, and I've always thought the right time to start is when someone seeks you out specifically because they want your talent. Just my personal two cents from one artist to another. That said, I totally understand your feelings.
Thank you for the answer, though. I honestly wouldn't feel comfortable offering a price at the moment, since I have personally no idea what the rates are for similar work, and I would really hate to offer too little (or too much, for that matter, haha.)
