Ali Baba draws your attention to the center of the tent, where he pulls out a book. It looks like a children's book, but he insists you'll love the story. You're drawn to look at the pages…

This trip is so bad, it drives you to stare into the pages. The first thing you notice when you examine the book is that it doesn't look like a children's story at all… in fact… the picture is of the front lines in a war.

Just as you're about to lay into your women and weapons, you realize you're on a battlefield.

Your commanding sergeant yells at you to take cover. In a frantic panic, you scatter and scramble into a foxhole. An earthshattering BOOM shakes the ground outside. Your heart is pounding, and you try to get a grip. You should take a look around.

You manage to pierce the walls, but not the dust beyond. Fog of war has set in, and it's bad. The worst you've ever seen. In fact, the worst you've never seen. This fog of war is literally so bad you have never seen fog of war this bad, including now.

>>313761

You're in a bunker in the middle of a warzone. You can hear guns rattling off in the distance — which you now seem to know what they are — and bombs exploding like spells left and right.

Inside the bunker, there are guns, and footlockers full of provisions and ammo.

You also see a table scattered with personal effects, and a radio.

Wf+6 313767

>>313765
You manage to expand the bunker a little bit. Nice work, private!

As you exit the foxhole, you realize it is not a foxhole at all, but a mousehole.

You find yourself at the base of a wall that seems to stretch on for hundreds of feet. The mousehole alone is easily tall enough for you, around ten.

The room itself appears to be a hallway, upon closer examination. From the left, you hear something approaching.

Displace has a maximum range of 5 meters (about 15 feet).

The cat is at the corner of the hallway. The hallway is roughly 2160 feet long, and 720 wide. You are halfway down the hall.

Using basic trig, we can determine that the cat is 1298 feet away, or approximately 1283 feet out of range.

Actually nevermind. I'll just take my pace for now and walk briskly to the hole.

Roll #0 7 = 7

Wf+6 313839

Slowing, you manage to cover 35 feet while the cat is distracted by a feather.

625 feet to go.

Go and rest man

Roll #0 3 = 3

Wf+6 313841
