You hear a ding ring out.
"Huh? No, no, audience, I don't think she should eat it. But really, Felfire, what you should do with it is really dependent on what you want out of it, isn't it? For instance, if you had a bouquet of flowers, you might give it to a corpse to romance it, or put it on a funeral plot to make yourself feel better about romancing those corpses, or put it in your windowbox to make other people think you're normal and not the kind of pony that fucks corpses.">>341059
You take a nice deep breath. Things… start to get weird. For one, the ships in the fleet now look small enough to pick up, like they're bath toys. For the other, big fluffy sheep are trying to smother you with hugs.>>341061
You immediately take off and sail up the outer ridge of the island. You notice a small pillar of smoke ahead in a small patch of forest as you approach the crest in your trajectory for the middle. Roll for luck with your next action.>>341062
You find a small bazaar in town. It's where you've been getting your food for the last few days, and you're starting to get sick of seafood. Fish, shrimp, crabs, seaweed… it's all seafood. The shifty vendor even tries to pass off a block of food as wood, but you're not falling for it.
On the upside, the locals are chatting freely around here. It's a good place to get information. You hear a flood of different conversations.
"…and they're more often than ever, too…"
"…probably displeased the local spirits…"
"…be back by sundown, with the fisherponies…"
"…no doubt, but such baubles are rare…"
"…and the beast's appetite is voracious, lives in caves…"
"…even here, missionaries visit on occasion…"
"…but that stranger has put up a fit near the sea…"
"…mainland no doubt stepping up patrols due to the rumors of pirates…"
"…overcast again, that's eight days in a row…"
"…it's an even flow, but low tide is early, and the stench unbearable…"
"…three forest fires in the last week…"
"…if I had the bits for it, I would…"
"…no one has the time, these days…"
"…it's work, if menial…"
"…and of course the Elders won't approve of it…"
