You are an adventurer/wanderer/sellsword/pilgrim/whatever on the road with a couple of fellow companions. Having been away from civilization for several weeks, you were happy to spot several smokestacks in the distance as you were walking about in the wild. Deciding to investigate what you assume to be some form of town or camp, you've decided to head towards said smokestacks. You've just stumbled upon a dirt road leading towards the direction of those smokestacks, as well as a wooden sign reading:

Welcome to Littlewood
Warmest and kindest town around!

Up ahead you spot a small wooden shack. It seems like the forest is getting less denser there as well.

Handle my talisman and continue on.

Detect alignment on my fellow travelers!
'1d10+2' for the Pegasus
'r2 1d10+2' for the Zebra!

Roll #1 3 + 2 = 5 / Roll #2 10 + 2 = 12

Go to the shack.

The pegasus appears to be good at least, although you aren't completely sure.

The zebra however, is clearly evil. A zealous worshiper of Nightmare Moon to be exact. The kind of person that exploits other ponies for their own gain.

You approach the shack, noticing there is nopony around outside. You see some clothes drying on a washing line though, indicating that there must be somepony around… right?

You can also see that your suspicions about the forest breaking up were correct. Up ahead you see a river with a bridge leading over it. And further, past the river, you see some rooftops. Looks like a small town in the midst of this huge forest.

Oh! Fly to the town.

Follow them.

"A town, here?"

Go in.

Also, can I use a Detect Alignment in the general direction of the village?

Roll #1 3 + 2 = 5

You aren't sure what to make of the town. There seems to be a slight hint of fear in this are.

You quickly fly up and over to the town, from the air you can spot a church on top of a small hill. The town itself is comprised of several smaller houses as well as one bigger building, which you assume to be the town hall. You notice quite a lot of it has been damaged somehow. Some of the buildings have even collapsed! The smokestacks you saw earlier appear to come from small fires that have formed in some of the heavier damaged houses.

Nopony is around on the streets though, the town is eerily quiet.

You follow the path and cross the bridge. Up is the edge of the town. To your left there is a church on top of a hill. You don't see anypony around outside.

>There seems to be a slight hint of fear in this are
in this area*

Open my charred book and read from it! Surely, my prophet will tell me what to make of the town!

Roll #1 9 = 9

"Has chaos come to this place as well? Punishment must go to those responsible…"

Blindfold and earplug myself, and pray to the Nightmare for guidance.

Roll #0 3 = 3

Can I reroll if nothing happens

Roll #0 7 = 7

Inspect around and look for ponies.

As you open up your book and concentrate on one of the blank, charred pages, letters begin appearing on them, telling you that strange and alien beings are responsible for this. Creatures that are not supposed to be in this world and threaten its very existence.

You too feel like something that doesn't belong here is in the area. The everlasting moon is concerned about something, and that is not good news.

Nopony is on the streets, that's for sure.

Look for a store.

Catch up with the other two.
Lizten to me! The end is nigh!"

"Then we will suppress it and bring it to order. Now, we need investigate."

Follow one of them.

"Oh zuzuzuzut up, ja demon!"
Wander around and look for signs of life.
No wait.
DETECT signs of life!

Roll #1 5 + 2 = 7

There is a general store, a bakery, a tailor and a smith in this town. Aside from that there are two taverns, one of which has been heavily damaged and partially collapsed.

There are several clear signs of life inside the church. And for a moment you could have sworn you felt something from over to where the town hall is.

Churches? Faust has no churches! To the town hall it is!

Follow the group.

You walk on the empty street towards the town hall. As you look around the area further and further you realize that whatever happened here must have caught the ponies living here by surprise. Doors are wide open, items litter the ground, food lies discarded in the dirt…

Everyone roll.

Roll #0 6 = 6

"Ku-ku-ku-kung Fu!"

Roll #1 10 = 10

Roll #0 7 = 7

You all hear the sound of something heavy falling over in one of the buildings as you pass by, followed by a strange sound you can't quite place.

Ready my sword and use my Heightened Sense to detect it more accurately.

Roll #0 4 = 4

"Should we inspect that?"

Roll #0 3 = 3

Complete silence.

"Zaat wuld be logical…"
Inspect that place!

Follow this one in.

Roll #0 6 = 6

Follow him.

You walk through the wide open door into the small house, immediately entering what must be the living room. Everything seems to be completely in place except from a wooden cupboard, which has fallen over onto the ground, explaining the earlier noise. The fireplace is still glowing slightly, bathing the room in a soft flickering light. You don't see anyone in here… strange.

"There's something hiding."

Detect harder!

Roll #0 9 = 9

Decect Alignment in here! Is there anypony?

Roll #1 6 + 2 = 8

Walk in and look for stuff.

Roll #0 8 = 8

You hear something scurrying in one of the back rooms. As you go in to check, you find… nothing again. Just an empty room with an opened window, looks like the bird has flown.

"Gegegegreat Prophet, we need ze help!"
Take the book!

Roll #1 4 = 4

"It fears us. Do not give it space."

Keep tracking it down.

Roll #0 10 = 10

"Meh this place is soo boring."

No letters appear this time

You jump out of the window and catch a glimpse of the creature as it rounds around the corner of a different building. It appears to be very skinny, furless and grey.

"There it is! It looks… fearsome. Disgusting."

"We may want to check for survivors first. I am wary."

Roll #0 7 = 7

With the Delusional flaw, on failures you should give me false directions.
"Aaaaaaaany luck?"

"Eww it looks disgusting."

Nopony in the near vicinity to be seen, that's for sure. The town hall is not much further.

Well. Make finally our way to the hall, shall we?

Go there.

Get thre.

Sorry for that, was eating and site ate my post
You head off towards the town hall. As you reach it and walk through the wide open doors into the dark and abandoned lobby you notice some movement in the shadows

Throw a rock or something at it.

Hold my sword and talisman ready.
