I have watched you grow too powerful
Be still now. This will not take long.

WHEN WE LAST LEFT OUR HEROES they had reunited with their friends from Tambelon and laid siege to Tambelon Keep, the house of Grogar, the Lord of Death.
The main hall belongs to them. There is no escape for the second of the Dark Gods.
He awaits high above in his throne room, watched over by his elite guard.

The War in the Heavens is underway.
This day, many new heroes will be forged.

Players, report in.

And so it begins.

You are in the main hall of Tambelon Keep.
The rioters and freed prisoners have taken up guarding positions at all exits and opened the main gates. You can leave and enter the keep at will.

You can head up the main staircase to access the second floor, or go to the library here on the bottom floor.

Several of the prisoners are carrying armour and weapons from the armoury to equip the rioters.
Meanwhile, you proceed to the Library doors.

They are large and ornate, carved of heavy, dark wood. As you push them open and enter, you realize the library is massive. It almost rivals the Royal Archives in size. Truly, the knowledge of the dead is vast.

While you try to get your bearings, a pair of disembodied hands fly over you and slam the doors shut.

A soft gasp can be heard from above, from one of the overlooking balconies housing more books.

You manifest your wings and land a deep wound on the Reanimator, who winces in pain
>>67629
You consume some of the huge soulmass within you, drinking deep of its power. You feel the energy focus into your horn. The coruscating energies of the arcane instability flux off it, sheathing your horn into a bright glow. Finally, you touch your horn with the Soul Staff, which ignites it into a blue flame.
Such phenomenal cosmic power flows through you.
This must be what the gods themselves feel like.
You are like a god. A god of MAGIC.
AND THIS. THIS IS YOUR CREATION.
You conjure a massive lightning bolt, priming it upon your horn. Slowly, you lower it, and focus with a sly grin.
You are not a merciful god.
>>67630
You fly up to stab the reanimator, but time it poorly, and are flung back violently as Freke unleashes his spell.
The blast strikes the Reanimator square on the chest, and he screams in pain as his flesh is seared off his bones. His eyes melt from the forces flowing through him and his mane is burned away. The hands holding him up explode and his body flops down on the floor.

Being focused on yelling about your feelings, you fail to notice there are hundreds of magic bolts in the air. And they are aimed at you.
Before you can so much as open your mouth to curse, a massive barrage annihilates the floor you stand on, the shelves near you, and were it not for your last stand, your body as well.
You stagger heavily and lean on your hammer, spitting up glowing blood.
The reanimator's seared skull turns on the floor, and its skinless grin is bored into your soul as you fall over helpless.
>>67673

As you turn, your eyes widen to see the massive barrage heading your way. You leap into the air to dodge the worst of it, but it is for nothing. You are blasted against a wall, and badly hurt. You grasp the mortal Lord of Death by his horn and lift him, extending to your full height. Standing on your hind paws you tower over even the Deathguard likened a midnight blue beast that would destroy the courage of any who would dare gaze upon it.
You sheath your blade and flex your talon. The Nightmare Soul is in your command, but it did teach you a trick or two in the past.
You sing your claws into the screaming ram's face and dig deep, blood and ooze staining you as you rip across his face, destroying his eyes. You then throw the lord of Death against a wall.
The Deathguard force you back away from him, as he channels more power into the portal.

Dodging the portal is now DC9, but attack rolls against grogar are at +2.

It is cold in here. You can feel your souls slowly melting away. As if they were being digested alive. It smells of nothing in here. Indeed the air is completely dead.
But the pain in your hearts tells you an important thing. After all you have seen and been through - you must still be alive.

With no way back, you wander in deeper to the guts of the massive beast.
And then you see it.
The sky… ceiling… inner lining of the stomach… THING ABOVE YOU is littered with dimply shining forms. Souls. Souls of ponies. Of griffons. Of zebras and goats, buffalo and donkeys. Of rats and bats and tiny little beetles, billions upon billions more, stretching into deep infinity. Every creature that has ever died… is here. All of them.

And near the center float two massive souls. As dim as the rest, but far larger.
They look like ponies.

Final harmony charge: 13641/50

The harmony conduit explodes.
It simply cannot contain the sheer power of the combined harmony of all mortals, dead and alive.
The explosion is not entirely random though. Beams of power strike through each of you, enveloping your hearts.
It also strikes the alicorns, and every single soul in the soulmass.
>>Unity is the greatest harmony of all.
>>Let many become one, so all can share the power of all.

Indeed you can feel your bodies take an ethereal form, and flow into one another. The Alicorns unite into a single central body, and the rest of you flow into it, draining the near infinite power of harmony that surrounds you.
Gaius and Campfire are pretty familiar with the feeling. Only now, it is far greater than any they have felt.

True death screams as you burst through its shell with the force of unlimited harmony, freeing all the souls awoken by the blast. They swirl around, whipping the infinite dark sea into a rising tornado of energy that sweeps away the dark beach and rends what remains of True Death into shards of meat.

Far above in Tambelon, Grogar and his guards take a step back.
The portal on his floor has changed from the blackness of death to the rainbow hue of Harmony. And from it, rises the combined avatar of Harmony. The Twilight of Gods. The Transcendent One. The… wait what are you going to call this new form anyway?

REGARDLESS, IT KICKS ASS.
AND THE FIRST ASS ON THE KICKING LIST IS GROGAR.

You tower over the once mighty Lord of Death, having become far larger than any pony, even alicorn has ever been. Your body wreathed in the flowing powers of harmony, your hearts, minds and souls united to a single purpose.

THIS IS THE MOMENT OF DEATH'S DEMISE.
