Craghorn digs out the honey and hoofs it over. He then sits down and starts the story
"It was a dark and windy night, not too far unlike this very one. In the high mountains of the north, a band of heroes had gathered to rest. They had faced great perils to recover a beautiful gem, called the Pool of Souls, from the hands of an evil wizard. But as they laid their heads to rest, they did not guess the wizard had one last trick left waiting for them. In the dark of the night they heard hoofsteps, scrunching in the snow. The heroes went out to see what was there. A bear? A Wolf! Perhaps a spy! No. It was just a snowpony. Probably left there by some kids, thought the bard. The others agreed and went back to sleep. But they awoke to a horrible scream! The cleric had been killed in his sleep! But why whom? None of the heroes had seen anyone. And there were no tracks in the camp. Only the snowpony. Again and again, through the impossibly long night, the heroes got up to investigate the screams, and each time, someone was dead, with no culprit in sight…
It was only when none remained but the heroic paladin leader and his trusty lifelong ranger friend that they decided to sleep together for safety. But the paladin could not sleep. He kept poking his friend, asking if he slept. Each time, the ranger poked back.
And just before dawn, the Paladin raised his head, only to see the ranger long since frozen solid by the tent door
And besides him in the bed was…
THE SNOWPONY! AAAAAA!"
