Decide to investigate the room behind the trapped door, it's the largest room in the whole basement, storage for barrels of all kinds, stacked on top of each other three tiers high, and against the walls several layers deep. No other door in sight. This room will from now on be referred as Barrels' Room. Tracing back to the first room.
Inspecting the second door on the northern wall of the First Room, leads to a short corridor.
The door at end of this corridor is locked. Confirmed the presence of light in the room behind it. Used the mask to reveal the presence of a barrel of rock above it, openiong the door slowly was enough to avoid the trap.
Inside this room that will from now on be called Desk Room, a desk with a notebook stating the content of the Barrels' Room, and an empty shelf. At the hooves of the shelf a lamp with a few minutes worth of oil, picked it up and carried with me.
Back to the First Room, took the eastmost door, that led on another corridor.
In the middle of it, loosely hanging wires mark another trap. A spiders' nest, unknown variant, decided to avoid them by crawling alongside the wall. Wires were NOT disabled or triggered. Spiders still in place.
The door at the end of this corridor was slightly open, inspecting the doorframe further revealed a bucket of what the mask confirmed to be lantern oil atop it. There was no safe way to sneak past the oil and avoid the wires at the same time.
Laughter, splashes and a voice came from somewhere north of the door.
After making sure I could reach an hiding spot, I pushed the door open and jumped out of the way of the bucket of oil, only soaking half of my tail, right into a shadow on the other side of the room.
Room was empty and no other real door was present, but a tunnel had been excavated in the northern wall. Name of this room will be Empty Room.
Cut the soaked half of my tail off, couldn't have it as a liability. placed it on the ground to minimize risks in case of fire.
The hole in the wall led down to a smelly tunnel, smeared in lamp oil. Horseshoes didn't get soaked.
A Y section in the tunnel divided it in two roads, one sharply turning west, and crossed by what at first look seemed like planks, another leading up again and north-west. Upon closer inspection of the planks on the western path they revealed to be the same shelf I had met before, taking me back to the Desk Room. Closing this passage again I went back up on the north path, only for a barrage of fire to come into view in the distance.
Fastly approaching me, I threw myself against the shelf, finding myself in the Desk Room once again, unscratched. After waiting for the fire to burn out I squatted and went in, passing the smoke with no problems thanks to the mask and my prowling posture.
Found myself in the Barrels' Room once more, this time many of the barrels that were neatly stacked earlier had been moved. Fliying over their previous location, I saw a figure amidst three barrels.
