No.780462
Out of the Age of Piss came the Age of Sub. The architect who was called Pineapple created a realm and drew to it a number of spirits, including DM the Systemless, who built a new home in that place. As they accumulated in time, many became their numbers.
But that time since the first kindling has long since past, and now the quests burn low. Even now the last Destinies drop, the Spellbound which was promised never came, and the everlasting questers were few. Would the flame of the First Meta be rekindled and delay the inevitable, or would the Chosen Quester quash the flame, inviting the beginning of the Age of Ded?

Warlords was "ran out of ideas", it was "let's redo Outland because we don't have to come up with any new major characters and we can reuse a ton of art assets". Mists was an assload of new assets, a new class, a new race, and tons of ideas and lore that weren't present in the game previously. All the shit with the Klaxxi, Shadopan, Sha, Thunder King - that's all fresh.

Think about how autistic you have to be to respond, "No, you shouldn't care, she wasn't a PC so the situation is totally different! A child of your PC is something you should not care about at all!" In the beginning there was an ARG. People worked and worked for weeks through the summer event, looking for answers. Then they had to wait. They solved more puzzles. Finally, they got a 23-hour count down. The reward? They got a 2 month countup timer. When that ran out, nothing for a full 24 hours - dead silence and waiting. Then, emails and nothing but waiting for November 1. On today, we got a new countup that lasted a few more hours. New reward unlocked: continued waiting. Overwait has been instructed to continue waiting for another wait. Speculation that it's fucking nothing and we continue to wait until Blizzcon is pretty rampant.
Even though apparently the ARG players ""hacked"" a nuclear power plant and drove its meters into the red, nothing. Brilliant!
