Dawn of the Third Week
The forest around Horton has finally been cleared, providing a large supply of lumber for construction. Already a number of new houses have been built, as well as a watchtower being completed and the rest being started. However, the revelation that the colony is not alone has several residents on edge.

Andelia
Your ship, the Fool's Folly, was sunk in a storm some weeks ago. You woke up shipwrecked and alone save for your pet hawk in this strange new land.
Over the past few weeks, you've managed to avoid the larger predators of the forest and forage enough food to survive, but it most certainly hasn't been easy.
This early morning, you are creeping through one particular area of the woods that something has been disturbing. Though you can't tell why, it seems most of the animals have fled the area.

569670

>>569655
Ooooh! Houses!
I dun gib a shiet 'bout their edge, I'm a bomb of nuclear informations anyway.
So did I get a house yet?

569671

In my office!
Call for my trusty donk secretary!

569679

>>569655
Lets report to the commander.

569680

>>569655
this is strange.. I look for any clues as to why, like big tracks.
'1d10'

Roll #1 6 = 6

569687

>>569670
>Name
But yes, you and Boon got one of the first new houses in light of your exemplary service for the colony.
You wake up a little sore (as you have for the past week), to an empty if comfortable bed and the smell of breakfast cooking.
>>569671
Called in!
You have five workcrews available. The potential projects are:
the watchtowers
the cannontower
the houses
the farmable field
making the area around the colony farmable

Additionally, you can assign extra workgroups to begin training as militia. They will still be available to be assigned to jobs, but will work slower. However, if attacked, they can partially defend themselves.
>>569679
"Morning, Askeladd. Treating the mares all right?"
>>569680
No… these are… these are pony tracks! Diamond dogs too, by the look of it.

569695

>>569655
Garden pony reporting in.

569696

>>569687
"Well feather, It looks like someone was here and scared away the wild life. Maybe its not savages this time." '1d10' follow the tracks

Roll #1 10 = 10

569697

>>569687
The farmable field project has to be put on hold momentarily.
One on the cannontower.
Two on houses.
Two on making the area around the colony farmable.
The rest of the towers can come after the cannon one is finished.
Have one of the house and one of the farmland-er crews train militia.

569704

>>569695
You wake up to Dog licking your face. As you finally blink you way to full consciousness, he sticks his tongue right up your nose.
>>569696
Following these tracks is easy; it was a large group, and they weren't even trying to cover their tracks. And up ahead…
Up ahead you find a large clearing with many trees cut down. Right in the center of it, there's a wooden wall, with ponies you can just make out patrolling the top.
Off to the right, you can hear voices.
>>569697
Noted. Geneva sends out the orders swiftly and promptly.
"So, what matters on your schedule would you like to attend to today?"
>>569700
He laughs at that.
"I'm impressed you're still standing, with the way those mares are. I'd be drained dry by now."

569707

>>569704
"We need to boost morale and get the population to relax."

569708

>>569687
"Mhmh~"
I luv that boy.
Off downstairs, kiss him good morning.
"Are we supposed to go out there again today?"

569712

>>569704
…a wall? My eyes start to shine. "Feather Dance, this could be a real society, lets go look!"
Try to signal one of the patrolling ponies

569715

>>569704
"Hello dog, I am happy to see you too."
Get up and look around. Where am I?

569722

>>569704
"I am sorry sir for the misconduct, I'll try to beave myself more."
I nod at him blushing before standing straight.
"Anything needed to be done sir? Is there any effort needed to be done to reach the farming area's scouted over the forest?"

569724

>>569708
He grins as he returns the kiss.
"'Fraid so. We've got to scout out those swamps to the south today. Pack fer wet ground."
>>569715
In your new house. It's small, but the garden is right outside, and it has everything you need.
Dog yips happily, then rolls over on his belly and pants at you.
>>569707
"Agreed. Maybe continuing to work with the construction crews? It certainly had an effect last time."
>>569712
You're so focused on the wall you don't hear the pony sneaking up on you until you feel a hoof pressed against the back of your neck.
"You probably can't understand me," a male voice growls, "But don't make any sudden moves or I'll grind you into paste."

569728

>>569722
"What you do on your free time isn't my concern; hell, I'm grateful for you making sure those five aren't bothering the rest of the guard or militia.
The farming area's been put on hold until we bolster the defenses a bit more."

569730

>>569724
Stay still and talk quickly.
"wait! I can understand you perfectly! You're equestrians right?! Please, I'm lost."

569731

>>569724
"That might work… I don't really have work clothes, though, and I'd hate to tear these up by accident."

569733

>>569724
"And mosquitoes.
Fuck mosquitoes."
Groan. Okay, let's go over my inventory.
The dual blaster, heavy boots, rope, healing potions (how many do I have?), water, rations…
Is this all?

569735

>>569724
… I have a house?

569739

>>569728
"So the whole town is worried." I then look at the map.

"I can help in building the towers…. or I can help in building houses so the things can speeden up a bit."

569741

>>569730
You feel the hoof slack for a moment, then the pressure returns, though not as harshly as before.
"Where did you come from? How did you find us here? You better answer quickly before I decide to take the safe option and just break your skull."
>>569733
Yup, seems like it.
"Breakfast is ready," Boon calls, setting some plates down on your makeshift table.
>>569735
Several houses were built last week, and thanks to your contributions you were given one. It's no mansion, just a small log cabin. Better than a tent though.
>>569739
"Certainly. With your stamina, I'll bet construction will go twice as fast."

569743

>>569741
"I was shipwrecked, traveling from equestria to prance.. and your friends leave wide tracks."

569747

>>569741
"One week and life has already improved so much~"
Smell the obviously present bacon before digging in.

569753

>>569741
That's very nice. Really, really nice.
What about my garden, is it doing well? What kind of ingredients do I have growing?

569756

>>569741
"Yes sir I would do my best." I salute and head off to the House construction area.

How are they doing? Is Moondancer in sight?

569757

569762

>>569743
You hear that he's about to say something else, but he stops as someone moves on the other side of you.
A middle-aged female goat enters your field of vision, smiling gently as she examines you.
"Calm down, sweetie," she breathes softly. "She definitely looks equestrian. Besides, the poor thing looks absolutely famished! She bears no ill will."
Slowly, the pressure on the back of your skull recedes.
"Fine," the voice grumbles. "But I'm taking her straight to the mayor."
>>569747
"It only gets better from here~"
As you finish your breakfast, you notice that your wings are in need of a good preening.
>>569757
"Well then, our first priority should be finding somepony who is a tailor! I'm sure somepony in town is good with a needle and thread."
>>569756
Yes, Moondancer is helping with the construction.
However, they all seem to have started gathering on the wall for some reason.
>>569753
Basic necessities. The strange plant seems to be doing well, but it looks like it's time for another weeding.

569766

>>569762
Approach the area and witness the commontion.
"What is happening here?" I look.

569767

>>569762
"Could you take care of that for me? What did you have for my schedule for today, by the way?"

569768

>>569762
take a look at the one who was holding me a second ago.
"A mayor? That means I was right! You are Equestrians!"

569769

>>569762
"Hey loveboy, did you get any better with those hooves?"

569783

>>569766
It looks like one of the guards with the outside work crews has somepony at hoofpoint. As you watch, he starts leading her towards the gates.
>>569768
He's a middle-aged zebra, bearing the armor and insignia of a God Hand. You feel very lucky the goat was here to talk him down.
"Yes we are. Now come with me; we have a lot of questions for you." He starts leading you towards the gates.
>>569769
"I thought ye said ye weren't disappointed last night," he smirks, then chuckles.
"Seriously though, what do ye need?"
>>569767
"Well, there's a couple of ponies who've applied for positions as judges who would like to see a legal system established for starters. Then there's several files on inventory that you need to fill out…"

569784

>>569783
Show him the wing and smirk.

569786

>>569784
He looks at it and smirks.
"Well, I'm willing to give it a shot."
Rolling to see how he does with his hooves. '1d10'

Roll #1 2 = 2

569787

>>569783
"Paperwork can wait a bit.
Setting up judges is a good idea, but I must see to it that they are fit for the position."

569788

>>569783
Follow him. Petting my hawk slowly with a hoof. Poor girl must be scared too.

569790

>>569786
Roll to guide him?
+2 because I know how to preen.
'1d10+2'

Roll #1 3 + 2 = 5

569791

>>569783
I look at Moondancer.
"What happened there?"

569793

>>569762
Time to go outside and tend to it then.

Roll #1 5 = 5

569801

>>569786
>>569790
"This ain't working," he grumbles as he just ends up mussing your feathers further.
"Wait… I have an idea…"
You can't see what he's-
Oh boy those are his lips on your feathers oh dear!
'1d10+1' +1 because of your guidance.
>>569791
She shrugs as best she can while lifting a log.
"Dunno. Why don't you go see, then come back and let us know?"
>>569787
"Agreed. In fact, I believe-"
She pauses as there is a bunch of noise from the entrance to the hall.
"I believe our first task is coming to us, actually."
>>569788
He leads you into a large Townhouse and towards an office.
"This is the mayor. I've seen her howl at the moon like a wolf and go tearing into a pack of wolves to get one of her ponies back. Do not piss her off, and If you're a threat to the town, may Faust have mercy on your soul."
>>569793
The weeds are a bit more stubborn this week!

Roll #1 4 + 1 = 5

569804

>>569801
Sigh.
"I wonder what it is this time."
Put on my glasses.
"Lead whoever wants to talk with me to my office, please."

569805

>>569801
>>569801
I rhen run and call out to the oen holding the gun.
"Hey! Whats going on here?"

569806

>>569801
He's a real dear, but I should start working on the other feather wing…
'1d10'

Roll #1 8 = 8

569807

>>569801
Nod slowly. "I am not here to cause trouble. Really."

569808

>>569801
Then I need to deal with them more severely. Sorry weeds, but this is how nature operates.

Roll #1 6 = 6

569812

>>569805
"Found this pony out in the woods," Zephyr, a fellow zebra guard calls.
"She speaks equestrian and says she was shipwrecked. Go ahead and take her to the mayor with me."
If you do, you're in the mayor's office now.
>>569804
Askeladd and Zephyr enter with a gem-eyed mare in tow.
"We found this mare outside the walls just now. She speaks equestrian and says she was shipwrecked here."
>>569807
There's a very official-looking mare behind the desk, peering at you from behind her desk.
Beside her is a well-kept but tough-looking jenny who is regarding you curiously.
>>569808
A bit more tugging, and they finally relent.

569819

>>569806
You're working pretty efficiently, but he seems to be new to this… Grunting, he decides to try something new, gently using his teeth to help tug them back into place. '1d10'

Roll #1 6 = 6

569820

>>569812
"Hello, is the mayor in?"

569822

>>569820
>>569812
Nod.
"Yes, it's me."
Look her over.
"Tell me more about your ship, it's destination, and the shipwreck itself. Are you the sole survivor?"

569824

>>569812
Dispose of them and check one last time.

Roll #1 6 = 6

569826

>>569812
>>569812
"Lets do that."

569828

>>569819
"Finally y-you are making progress!"

569830

>>569824
Sorry these last few responses were curt.
Yup, you're absolutely sure you've cleared the weeds out of your garden. Hopefully they won't come back so strong next week.
You hear some flapping behind you.
"Hey Ambrosia!" Wheat Fields calls out to you. "Guess what?"
>>569826
See Magistre's and Krystal's responses for now.
"Thank you," Zephyr bows to you. "No if you'll excuse me, I'll leave her to you and return to my duties."
>>569828
He chuckles and continues what you seem to like. But your wing already seems pretty well preened… '1d10+1'

Roll #1 10 + 1 = 11

569831

>>569830
W-whoa there!
Purr.

569832

>>569822
"The ship was the Fool's Folly, and I haven't found anyone else yet. We were going to Prance."
She is an earth pony mare, with gems for eyes, a hawk is perched on her back. I haven't decided on colors

569835

>>569832
The mayor is a mare with glasses, her mane tied up in a neat bun, wearing a business costume.
"I see… this is a long way from Prance, isn't it? When did that happen and how did you survive alone?"

569836

>>569830
Turn to look at her.
"What should I guess?"

569840

>>569835
Rub my head "Its honestly hard to tell days without a calendar, but a few weeks? I've been surviving just me and Feather Dance against the wild."

569847

>>569836
"Guess who's all better!" She cheers, throwing up her cast-free hooves and flying a loop.
"I'm finally free and ready to get to work!"
>>569831
I hope you weren't hoping to be able to form a coherent response, because his attention leaves you fighting just to breathe. He seems to be a quick study, getting right into it once he catches what you like. Your legs tremble as you fight the urge to collapse in a puddle.
Finally, after an eternity of indescribable sensation, he draws back… then gives one last gentle scrape of his teeth, right down the center of your back where the wings meet. The sensation literally floors you, leaving a desperate tingling in your loins.
Boon chuckles approvingly. "Now, now, we ain't got time for that right now. Got work to do today."

569849

>>569835
Geneva leans over and whispers.
"How do we know we can trust her? She's literally showing up out of nowhere. This could be a trap of some kind."

569850

>>569847
Groan desperately.
"Never- Letting you- Preen again~"
But get up and ready myself.

569851

>>569849
"I'm well aware."

>>569840
"I see…"
Lean closer.
"I hope you understand that I cannot trust you to not be a danger right ahead. We can provide you with food, water and shelter, but you will have to work for your share, just like all the settlers. I will also need to assign supervision over you while it is confirmed that you are not a threat."

569855

>>569851
Gulp and nod a bit. "Right, can't be too careful. After all we just met. But I'm not here to cause you any trouble, and I know a fair bit about the area too."

569857

>>569850
As you're getting your stuff ready, he suddenly embraces you from behind, his chest pressing into the small of your back.
"O'course… I never said anything about tonight~" He whispers huskily.
His hoof starts trailing down your belly.
"Or can ye not wait that long?"
>>569851
>>569855
"Which raises the question of how exactly you have managed to survive so long. This is a very dangerous land, as you are no doubt aware."

569859

>>569857
Purr a bit and smirk, but gently kick him off.
"Let's not get distracted while we work, uh?"

569860

>>569857
"Well, I have my hawk, Feather Dance, and we were just really careful to ovoid anything too big." I offer as an answer.

569861

>>569847
"Oh."
I cock my head.
"You look good, Wheat Fields. Healthy and happy again."

569865

>>569855
>>569860
"Did you come across any wildlife or natives?"

569867

>>569859
He chuckles but picks himself back up.
"I figgered as much. I just love to make ye coo."
He nuzzles your cheek affectionately.
"My beautiful little dove~"
>>569861
"Yep!" She sweeps you up into a crushing hug.
"Oh, it feels so good to be able to do this again! Come on, you want to help with the construction or with clearing the land for farming? I don't care, I just want to work!"
>>569860
"From what we've seen, that's a lot of stuff to avoid. Regardless, if you know your way around, you ought to meet up with Julia and Boon to exchange information."

569869

>>569867
Blush furiously and put a wing around his back.
"Dweeb…"

569871

>>569867
"Sure.. point me in their direction? I think there was also something about food and housing?"

569876

>>569867
"I wish to help you with whatever you need help with."

569881

>>569869
He chuckles and lets your wing embrace him.
You spend a while like this, just holding each other close in your new home.
>>569871
She gives you directions to their house. "Of course, you should finish answering any questions miss Magistre has for you first. As for food and housing, those will be seen to. We'll let you when we get the details down."
>>569876
"Let's help clear the fields! Digging up stumps out to be a good way to stretch and get dirty!"
She takes a deep breath and sighs.
"I just LOVE the smell of fresh dirt, don't you?"

569883

>>569881
But WORKWORKWORKISNEVEROVER!

569884

>>569881
"It is a very nice smell, yes. It holds many good memories."

569885

>>569881
"Alright. And what about this escort?" I look anxiously over my shoulder.

569890

>>569884
"Ooh! Speaking of which, I just remembered! I saw a strange pony going into the mayor's office that I haven't seen around before! Come on, let's check it out!"
She grabs you by the hoof and starts dragging you off to the townhouse.
>>569885
Since Lemon's fallen asleep, we'll say Zephyr is still here.
"I'll stay with you until we can determine that you're not a threat. You understand the precaution, of course. We don't find many castaways here."
>>569883
Too true. and so the two of you head off into the wild unknown.

569892

>>569890
Follow her lead obediently.

569893

>>569890
"It certainly seems like an isolated place. Mind telling me what the purpose of this place is?"

569894

>>569893
"We're a colony. Our purpose is to settle down and carve out a piece of this new land as a new home."
She grunts and rolls her eyes.
"Of course, we also have to send supplies back to our investors to keep them happy, but that's just until we become self-sustaining."

569895

>>569894
"What kind of supplies?"

569896

>>569895
"Lumber, spare food, pelts, ancient treasure…"
She shrugs.
"Anything that they can make money off of. Course, with how stretched we are for supplies as it is, I'm not sure how we're going to manage it…"
>>569892
There's a gem-eyed pony in the mayor's office.
"Ooh, she's new! Let's go say hi!"

569897

>>569896
"I see. Do you have scouting parties to looks for more sources?"

569898

>>569896
A what?
"Okay."
Carefully follow behind Wheat Fields.

569899

>>569890
Not even a map or a kiss goodby from venture?
Oh, and our compasses, of course.
Let's start moving.

569900

>>569899
Alright, roll 1d20 for encounters.
>>569898
It's Andelia.
Wheat Fields flies right up in Krystal's face.
"Ooh! I've never seen a pony like you before! What's with your eyes?"
>>569897
"Yes, of which Julia and Boon are some of our best."

569901

>>569900
'1d20'!
Also, how many potions?

Roll #1 5 = 5

569902

>>569900
>>569897
"Are you well?"

569903

>>569900
Back up a step and pull out the picture of my family.
My shiny crystal mom, and my strong earth pony dad. "See. I'm part earth pony, and part crystal pony."

569905

The Mayor is in.
Again.
I hope.

569906

>>569902
"I'm a little hungry."

569907

>>569906
"I think you have something in your eyes. Does it hurt? I can guide you to the doctor if you wish."

>>569903
Stare at the picture for a moment.
"… I do not understand."

569909

>>569907
Let you hold the picture. "See, I have these shiny eyes like my mom."

569911

>>569906
>>569907
>>569909
"Miss Ambrosia? Please see to it that our guest gets proper catering. She should also be looked at by doctor Sweetherbs."
Look at Krystal.
"I will talk to you later, once you are feeling better."

569913

>>569901
Only two this time around.
A ways into the forest, you stumble onto a patch of bushes.
"Hold up…" Boon stops you. "Those bushes look familiar…"
>>569905
"Miss Magistre?" Geneva prods you. "You zoned out for a second there. Perhaps we should let her get going?"
>>569903
"Oh, that's really cool!"
She grabs the sides of your face and stares intently into your eyes, your noses almost touching.
"Wow, what are those, rubies? I think I can see my reflection in them!"

569915

>>569913
Stay dead quiet and ready my weapons.
Are they THOSE bushes?
'1d10'

Roll #1 4 = 4

569916

>>569909
"… Oh."

>>569911
Turn to her and bow.
"Yes mayor. At once."

>>569909
"The mayor wishes you to leave. I will guide you."

569917

>>569913
Nod.
"Yes, my apologies, I was deep in thought."

>>569916
Sigh.
"I told you not to bow to me, Ambrosia."

569918

>>569913
Blush and try to push her back. "Um don't do that. Feather Dance doesn't like ponies touching me, and while she is a well trained bird you shouldn't suddenly touch me like that."
>>569916
>>569911
"That would be great. Thanks."

569919

>>569917
"Sorry, mayor."

569920

>>569919
"Just try and remember it in the future, please."

>>569918
"You're welcome. Enjoy what our settlement, Horton has to offer, and please try not to cause any trouble."

569921

>>569918
>>569913
Lead her out of here to the doctor's hospital thingy.

>>569920
"Yes mayor. I am sorry."

569922

>>569920
"Don't worry. I will be on my best behavior. And Feather Dance too."

569923

>>569915
They look suspiciously familiar…
"A-HA!" Boon cries. "These are blueberry bushes! A whole batch of them!"
>>569918
"Oh, I'm sorry. Who's Feather Dance?"
She gasps as she notices the hawk on your back.
"Hey there cutie! How are you doing? Aren't you just the most adorable thing ever?"
He starts preening himself proudly, standing a little taller.
>>569921
Sweetherb looks up as you enter. "Oh hello there you two! Who's that you've got with you?"

569924

>>569923
"A pony."

569925

>>569923
"Ffff-uck you Boon!"
Sigh and go rest against a tree, clearly scared and angry.

569927

Boon is immediately at your side, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion and worry.
"Julia, sweetheart, what's wrong? What did I do?"
>>569924
She rolls her eyes. "I could have sworn she was a caribou."
>>569927
"Aw, he's just the cutest thing ever!" She squeals, petting his neck. He bristles at first, then relaxes and leans into her petting.
The female buffalo smiles as she greets you, extending a hoof.
"I'm doctor Sweetherb, the colony's physician."
You notice that she's the same size as a pony and not as shaggy as buffalo usually are. Why isn't she big like every other buffalo?
>>569930
Yup. Sweetherb blinks as an apple tree branch grows from the floor and sprouts an apple right in front of Krystal.
"…You're going to clean that up, right?"

569933

>>569931
"Fuck don't tell me you don't remembe about the last thorny bush we met!"
Shake my head and put my weapons away.
"Let's just leave."

569934

"You could keep it to grow more apples if you wish, doctor."

569936

>>569931

Glad to see the mare and Feather getting along I sigh.
Shake the buffalo hoof "Pleased to meet you. Um.. would you mind my asking why I'm here?"

569940

>>569933
Boon just pulls you into a hug.
"I'm sorry. I never even thought… Ye know we ain't gonna find that thing around every corner, right? Even so, we know better."
>>569936
That actually sounds good. Just say that Wheat Fields has been mistaken this whole time.
"Well, you've been on your own for goodness knows how long, after being shipwrecked and adrift. We have to make sure you aren't carrying any parasites or infected injuries."
>>569934
"Well, right now it's… kind of in the way. I need to be able to get around in here."

569941

>>569940
Push him away, gently.
"Let's keep moving."

569942

He looks back at the blueberry bushes.
"Ain't even bloomed yet. Still, good to know for later."
Roll another d20.
>>569942
She breathes a sigh of relief.
"Thank you…"
Until she notices the splintery hole in the floor.
"…I think."
>>569943
"Oh, I'm sorry you're a girl! How silly of me! Do you forgive me, Feather Dance?"
Ignoring Fields, Sweetherb smiles and motions towards the bed.
"Well, hop up and we'll get started."

I get onto the bed and motion for Feather to hop onto the counter while this happens.

569955

>>569948
A bit further into the forest, you come across a statue of a pony. The features have all worn away, but the general shape is still there.
Several large white flowers are blooming around the statue's base.
>>569950
Feather nods absentmindedly as she enjoys the attention until Wheat starts paying attention to Ambrosia.
Huffing indignantly, she stalks over to the counter and hops up, sulking.
>>569949
She grabs it and swishes it around a few times, then goes hobble-kneed and pouts strangely as she waves it around and rambles in a poor imitation of a thick accent.
"Yeeeeeeeh dagurn young'uns good-fer-nuthing vagabunds with yer fancy magics and swerds and lullabees, I'ma feel yer tootin' namy un'er mah weeble-naow! Come ov'r 'ear and lemme learn ye a less'n wit' mah hittin' stick!"

He smiles and turns back to you.
"Come over here for a second."

She collapses into a fit of snorts and giggles.

569961

This statue. As I shall until it crumbles to dust, and I rejoin the Aether. This is a place of rest and solitude. Be at peace.
"Sweetheart, I'm sorry for scaring ye earlier. Ye don't gotta jump at every shadow."
He glances at the telltale ripple of your Communing with the shadow.
"Figuratively speaking, o' course."
>>569965
"Aw, come on, you know that was funny!"

569968

>>569962
"I'm really good at Shooting things. I got my special talent when I was small, by hitting a bull's eye with a sling shot!"
>>569967
Look worried. "What is it?"

569969

>>569967
I nod.
"Yes. It was."

569970

>>569967
I… See. What are the flowers all about?

569971

>>569968
"It's as I feared. See this cut on your hind leg, how swollen it is?"
The cut in question is an angry red and swelled up to the size of a small melon. You can see some clear drainage seeping out of it.
"I'm afraid it's infected. I'll have to cut it open and drain the infection out."
>>569970
They are flowers.
Boon smiles as he walks over, gently fixing the flower behind your ear, then standing back and admiring his handiwork.
"I knew it. Ye look absolutely stunning."
>>569969
She passes you the stick. "All right, now it's your turn!"

569972

>>569971
Drop the link and look at Boon.
"I wish I knew who made this place…"

"You don't think I'd just cut you open without any preparation, do you?" She turns to Ambrosia.
"Could you go fetch some ingredients for a mild sedative or painkiller from your garden while I prepare my tools?"

"Don't matter. All that matters…"
He pulls you close.
"Is that we're here now."

"Wait a sedative? Why do you need to knock me out?!" I start to panic a bit.

569981

>>569976
"Yes doctor."
Go get those ingredients!

569983

Alright I'm here now.

Did we free those dunkards again?

569984

>>569980
"Mild sedative. It would temporarily slow synapse firing in the brain, lessening your ability to feel pain. You'd just feel drowsy for a bit.
Trust me, it's going to be preferable to the alternative."
>>569981
Roll to see how well you do collecting the right stuff.
>>569983
Eventually, yes. More importantly, a new pony showed up out of the woods today. Moreover, she speaks equestrian! She says she was shipwrecked here several weeks ago.
You've been assigned to guard her for now. She's currently in Sweetherb's clinic.
>>569979
When you finally start processing thoughts again, however slowly, you're on your back in the soft grass, Boon smiling gently down at you as his weight presses you down.
"Ye know," He breathes huskily as he runs his hooves down your wings, "I don't think I can wait till tonight after all."

"Good, very good," Sweetherb praises you with a smile.
>>569987
"Now, take this; it will make you drowsy, but it'll also dull the pain." She hoofs you some of the finished medicine from what Ambrosia and Field brought.
"Now, I'll rub this stuff on the infection; it should numb the area."
>>569985
"Shh," he chides you as his hooves slide lower. "I'll take care of ye…"
And thus an hour of daylight was wasted in the best possible way.

She asks Ambrosia.
>>569994
When you're done, he smiles gently at you as you both clean yourselves off at the base of the statue.
"Sorry for that," he apologizes sheepishly. "It's just… the moment was right, is all."

569999

>>569997
Shake my head with a smirk, and flick his nose with my tail.
"Sorry for what?"

570000

>>569997
I know how to, right?
"Yes."

570001

>>569997
Yea, just focus on something in this room, a poster, that will help me keep awake.

He chuckles and rubs noses with you.
"Sorry for not telling ye how I felt sooner."
It's a beautiful romantic moment…
Roll perception for you and Boon.

Boon pricks his ears.

>>570022
Well, she was half-dead long before you got at her; she's covered in gashes and tears in her coat, her legs bloody from where bindings must have rubbed her skin raw. In fact, her front hooves are still tied together. Her Purple headband is torn and bloody, but still intact.
She curls up against the statue, staring at you with terrified eyes as she babbles nonsense.

570028

Boon nonchalantly aims Bessie in the direction she came from.
"Heads up. We got company."

We managed to get everypony inside, but we've got an unknown force now sitting on our doorstep."

He's leaning against the wall casually as he looks into the forest.
"Looks like we're gonna have a real time of it."

Go back into the clinic. I should stay out of the way right now.

570122

"The cannon tower, no, but we'll have a big surprise for any of them that manage to breach the wall."

>>570129
This mare is in really bad shape.

Sweetherb is flying around the room, grabbing disinfectant, sterilizing wipes, and countless tools you don't recognize.

"That was torture they committed on the tribe's chief. Why would I be worried about that? They ain't getting near Magistre while I'm breathing."

"Right now they're sticking to the forest's edge. They don't seem to be attacking, and I don't want to risk inciting them."
He scrunches.
"Plus you're banking on them being dumb enough to be scared off by a simple lightshow with noise. Never underestimate your opponent."

Feel free to seek out whoever you like to try and make sense of this panic.

570281

>>570155
So what is happening?

570282

>>570155
I'm here at the clinic or something.

570283

>>570281
The town bell is clanging out the alarm, and ponies are running everywhere, some with purpose, some not. You heard something about somepony coming out of the woods; maybe you should investigate?
You heard something about her heading for the clinic.
>>570282
Sweetherb is doing her best to keep the mare comfortable. The mare is sitting up and looking around, so you suppose that's good.

570284

>>570283
Lets head to the commotion with sword at the ready and see whats happening.

570285

>>570283
I guess I'll go outside and try to look at what's happening near the wall, with my gem hawk eyes. '1d10'

Roll #1 4 = 4

570286

>>570284
Ponies seem to be rushing to the armory, then running to the walls with their gear half-on.
Several of them have rolled out the colony's cannon and are cleaning and prepping it, stacking up gunpowder, cannonballs, and grapeshot nearby. They seem to be aiming it right towards the town gates.
>>570285
Hard to tell, with all these ponies rushing around. Maybe you should go ask that Diamond Dog guard who towers above everypony else. Lemon, in other words.

570288

>>570286
>>570284
Speak up to get his attention.
"Excuse me, Can you see what's going on?"

570289

>>570286
>>570288
"Whats going on?! The militia's are getting ready to fight for something I do not know yet, that is whats going on." I look at this pony and go to the militia's.

"Hey why is everyone getting battle-ready."

570290

>>570288
>>570289
One of the cannon crews speaks up.
"You ain't heard? One of the scouts came back and brought a whole horde of angry natives on their tails!"
Blaze comes up, still strapping on his heavy armor.
"Hey, Askeladd. So much for a quiet day, huh? I'm just glad I'm back up and running for it."

570291

>>570289
This earth pony mare has gem-like eyes, and looks every confused, as if she might be high or something, and her leg is bandaged very heavily, dragging behind her.
"I don't know what's going on, someone said we were attacked. I just got here.. I don't want to die!"

570294

>>570290
>>570291
I look at Krystal and grit my teeth,
"Ah damn, Blaze took charge of this mess. Also do not shoot anything until you are shot or attacked understand?"

I then go to Krystal and lift her up.
"Come on up, ponies like you should not stay here."
Bring her to the buffalo healer.

570296

>>570294
"Sir, yes, sir!"
>>570291

570298

>>570294
>>570296
"I understand. I won't shoot anything."
Guess I go back to the clinic, since I'm being carried.

570300

>>570298
The mare looks up questioningly at you, until her eyes start widening, her jaw hanging slack for a second before…
>>570294
When you enter, Sweetherb is running around in a tizzy, faster than most would be able to follow.
There's a heavily bandaged mare lying on the bed, her eyes wide as she stares at you…
Before opening her mouth and screaming at the top of her lungs, backpedaling furiously away from you.

570301

>>570298
"How are you? SweetHerb here is a good doctor and herbalist and…. "

>>570300
I look at Sweet Herb confused.
"Wait wait wait! Why are you screaming?"

570302

>>570300
"What's wrong?" I try to approach her.

570303

>>570301
"Yea.. she saved my leg just an hour ago!"

570305

>>570301
>>570302
Sweetherb looks just as startled by this outburst as you.
"I don't know what triggered this. She was fine just a moment ago!"
The mare simply continues to press herself into the corner, whimpering softly as she stares out at you fearfully.
Just to be clear, there are two people/ponies here: Doctor Sweetherb is one, the mare currently freaking out is another.

I look at you confused.
"Oh! Is that so? Alright that is good to hear, at least now you are out of harms way."

I then offer a hand.
"Askeladd and you?"

>>570305

I just gulp at the sight.

570308

>>570307
"Yes. Thankyou."

570310

>>570308
I tilt my head.
"Uhhmmm… your name is Thankyou?" I grin.

570312

>>570306
>>570307
Good call. Even if she can't understand the words, anypony can recognize the sound of a lullaby. After a moment, she slowly pulls herself out and cautiously moves over to you, giving a few nervous glances at Askeladd. The fact that he's just standing there and not taking any agressive actions helps alleviate her worry somewhat.
Sweetherb breathes a sigh of relief.
"You really have a gift for this. I might take you on as an apprentice after this. Maybe."

570313

>>570310
"No.. I'm Kyrstal, Krystal Styles." I smile at you a little sleepily.
"Oh and this is my pet, Feather Dance." I point out my hawk.

570314

>>570312
I blush a bit.
"A soothing sound gets wild animals to calm down, so I thought i'd give it try. "

570317

>>570313
"Krystal, I am glad that I brought you here. Not to mention that you put this little fella to sleep but no offense, one less trouble on the front lines will help the militia's a lot."

>>570312
"SweetHerb can you take care of both of them?"

570318

>>570314
She chuckles softly at that.
"I guess we're all animals, in one way or another. Just a bit smarter than the rest."
Feather Dance ruffles indignantly.
"No offence, but hawks don't run medical clinics last I checked."
>>570317
"Just a moment, Askeladd."
She motions for you to come closer to the mare.
"I want to test something. I want you to slowly, gently, reach you paw out to her, as if asking to shake hooves, but more relaxed. Go slow, and take your time."

570319

>>570317
"I'm not offended sir.. I don't want to hurt your settlement. If this helps prove it then I am glad."

570320

>>570318
"Feather Dance is a very smart girl, she'd do fine." Lay down somewhere on the floor near the sleepy pony.

When nothing further happens, she gives your paw a puzzled glance, looking back up at you, then at your paw. Slowly, her fear gives way to curiosity as she slowly reaches a hoof toward your paw, then pokes one of your fingers with her hoof.
>>570320
"So, how's the leg doing? I know it was scary, but if all goes well you'll be good as new within a week."

570326

>>570323
"It will be okay.. I'm just gonna sleep on it.."

"That's the thing; we don't know. Julia and Boon brought her in just a short while ago. She's one of the natives, so I can't understand her."

570331

>>570330
I look at SweetHerb surprised.
"What? Really?"

570336

I look at Krystal as she goes on the floor and rest.
"So how are you feeling? Once things calm down you need a cot and a tent where you can stay instead of sleeping on cold floor, you could get a cold if you do that for a week."

570337

>>570333
Maybe, but you don't get the chance to find out as Sweetherb picks you up and carries you onto one of the beds.
"Ponies say many things about me, but never let it be said I force my patients to sleep on the floor when there are beds available."
You don't get to sleep long, but what sleep you do get is restful. It's good to be back in civilization.
>>570331
"Indeed. She was in pretty bad condition when they brought her in."
The mare says something else, then nudges your paw experimentally with her nose, before looking up and blushing.
"Nevertheless, this has proven… informative."

570340

>>570337
I look at the mare, a bit confused as to why she is booping her nose to my finger then look at Sweet Herb.
"She's booping her nose." I chuckle.

570341

570342

>>570340
Sweetherb smiles as the mare continues nudging your fingers.
"I think she's asking for a demonstration."

570344

>>570342
I look at Herb confused.
"Demonstration of what?"

570346

>>570344
"Your fingers! Judging by her initial fear and this curiosity, I'd say that she's probably never seen a diamond dog before. I think she's trying to figure out how your paws work."

570348

>>570346
"Oh I see! Alright lets do this." I chuckle and boop the natives nose with my finger.

570350

>>570348
She goes cross-eyed as she tries to follow your finger, then scrunches as you boop her.
Her irritation fades after a moment though, considering how she begins to nuzzle into your palm.

570352

>>570350

Before her eyes snap open, her head whipping back as her face burns crimson.
She squeaks out what sounds like an apology as she covers her face with her hooves.

570358

>>570356
Oookay.
I just grin at her as I slowly pat her head using my hand that she just suckled with.
I then look around if SweetHerb is here.

Sweetherb's here, a small blush on her face.
"Yes… this validates my hypothesis quite conclusively…"

The representative walks out into the middle of the clearing between the town and the woods, accompanied by a nervous-looking mare carrying a large colorful pole covered in something that looks like streamers.
The representative himself is wearing a large headdress make of numberous colorful pegasi feathers, three green gems twinkling behind his horn as he casts something on himself.
Stopping in the middle of the field, he begins talking, his voice booming across the walls as he spouts gibberish in a demanding tone. He must have used a voice-amplification spell. Unfortunately, none of you understand a word he's saying.

>>570575
Geneva thinks for a moment.
"Maybe the mare Julia and Boon brought in could help? At the very least it's worth a shot."
You could also try reading his mind. You know, since you have the skill and all.
>>570576
"What a loudmouth," Wheat Field huffs, twirling her spear idly.
You still have those two potions you can give out. Do you want to give them to party members, npcs, or keep them for yourself?

570595

"Just understanding them would be a great deal of help. Would you accompany me in meeting their diplomatic entourage?"

>>570587
"Dunno if she can help, but maybe showing her to them will get a reaction."
Boon glances out at the forest and shrugs.
"That said, they look like they're out fer blood. Might not matter either way."

He seems to stop and think for a bit, then his horn lights up. Several colored lines appear above him, slowly sketching out the figure of a mare.

Ponies in green attacking a village, dragging ponies screaming from their tents…
…The defenders in purple rally, pushing the green back, forcing them to run… but they still have their prize…
the mare in purple slips free and runs, making the whole group give chase…

So that's what happened. As for what they plan…
A city to the south, filled with pyramid-like structures built from rectangular slabs of rock…
The top of one of these structures, backdropped against the setting sun…
A stone slab on top with the mare strapped onto it, screaming as a knife is plunged into her chest…
A still-beating heart, held up to the sun in bloodied claws…
And a face.
A face twisted and wrong, first one species then another, a horrible mix of the worst features in every sentient race.
A face that looks at you, peers into your very soul… and smiles. The sight makes you feel like throwing up.

Back in the real world, the representative blinks, before shaking his head and pointing at the image of the mare once more and saying something in his language.

Set the shadow to translate.
Fuck you, dark chuckles.

570625

>>570620
Narrow my eyes and shake my head.
With a firm tone, say "No." and point back towards the forest, where they came from.

570627

>>570624
"They want the mare for a living sacrifice."

570629

>>570613
"I wouldn't know… but don't worry, I don't think they can get through this wall."
Down the wall, you hear Boon start whistling a familiar tune.

For he's a jolly good fellow
For he's a jolly good fellow…

>>570622
"Oh, he did?" She growls. "Well, he better not try anything else or we'll have to go kick his butt."
>>570623
"Aw, thanks sister!" She gives you a hug, then sniffs at your mane.
"You were gardening earlier, weren't you?"

570630

>>570627
"…Yeah, fuck them. Can I shoot?"

570631

>>570629
I nod.
"It is my purpose in life."

570632

>>570630
"Absolutely not. Not while we are out here, anyway."

>>570629
Shoo them away motion harder!
"Leave, and don't you dare ever come back!"

570633

>>570632
"Gotcha, I will wait."
Smirk.

570634

>>570627
>>570629
I look at Magistre.
"What? Who's mare?"

570637

>>570625
>>570632
He scowls and points at the mare insistently, saying something in a threatening tone.
The town of Horton in flames…
you strapped to the slab… Julia, Cutter… Everypony…
The sun demands sacrifices. These ponies will suffice.

>>570631
"It smells good. I'll have to start working with you!"
She glances at the parley group.
"Uh-oh. Looks like we're about to have trouble…"
>>570634
You're on the wall right now, she can't hear you!
Further down the wall, you hear Boon whistling too.

For he's a jolly good felllllllllll-oooooooooooooow…

570638

>>570637
Wait, what do I hear from the shadow as he speaks?

570640

>>570629

'Whistle' too.
"And so say all of us, and so say all of us!"

570642

>>570637

"Hey whats with the whistling?" I look at Boon.

570654

>>570638
You caught the same thing Magistre is getting.
>>570642
He blinks as the magic takes hold, then shouts something to the rest of the group. The mare with him starts, then protests in their language, causing him to strike her and shout something as he begins walking away. Several of the ponies in the woods begin drawing away…

Then, with a challenging screech, a pony leaps up from beside Magistre, breaking concealment as she draws her dagger back for the killing blow…

*BLAM*
>>570646
Boon calmly blows the smoke away from his rifle Bessie as the would-be assassin flops to the ground, nonchalantly finishing the verse as he reloads.

Your combined fire knocks him down, Cutter sweeping in and kicking his head.
Then, the transformed Blaze lifts his clawed limb and slams it into the ambusher, piercing him in several different places.
Groaning, he rips the limb right off, another growing into place even as the old one sprouts into a healthy oak tree.

Using the cover of Justicia's remaining Night spell, you all retreat back over the walls, safe and sound. From the sounds of it, though, the battles only just begun.

Yup. She's unconcious, but still breathing.
"Take her to Sweetherb," Cutter orders you, "And make sure she's restrained and wearing a magic inhibitor! She's a valuable prisoner, and maybe a chance to get some answers."

The sky darkens, but this time it's not Justicia's spell. There's a wave of heat, a piercing shriek, and the whoosh of a great gust of wind…
And in an explosion of splinters and flames, an enormous shadow falls from the sky and slams into the gates, shattering them into pieces.
In the midst of the wreckage, An enormous winged beast stands, burning bright red as it's feathers crackle with barely contained heat. Standing on two legs as thick as treetrunks, the beast has large boxlike structures strapped to each shoulder, an enormous helmet fastened over it's head and beak, large enough to swallow a pony whole.
Rearing back, the creature roars to the sky, flames spewing from it's mouth as the natives fill the air with their whooping warcries.
Captain Cutter swears and flies off.
"All militia, to arms! All able-bodied ponies, to the square! The gates have been breached!"

Settlers Town Defense
As soon as it appears, the Firedrake once more takes to the skies, leaving the gates destroyed and natives pouring into town. Right now, your primary objective is to protect the town from the attacking Natives.

There are 3 groups of 10 militia available: the Regular Militia, the Makeshift Militia, and the Haphazard Militia. Captain Cutter is a Legendary Unit: he must be part of a group, but gives the entire group bonuses. There are also 5 guards available: Zephyr, Serenity, Attena, Ruby, Justicia(Player Character), and Askeladd(Player Character). These can be used as a single group, or distributed to the Militia groups to increase their odds of success.

As they have not been fully trained yet, the Makeshift and Haphazard Militias will likely break if they are not supported by at least two guards.

The Regular Militia, having recieved Basic Training, are more likely to be able to hold their ground, but will be more effective if they have at least one guard to act as a commanding Officer. Conversely, you can have the nature-blessed Blaze lead the Regular militia; as a member himself, they will all be familiar with him, and his newfound strength might be a morale-booster that could inspire them to hold the line.

Captain Cutter can also act as the commander for a single group, bringing them to maximum effectiveness.

There is 1 Cannon crew in the Town square, currently overwatching the center path into town through the gates. You can have the mages Sticks Enstones and Celery Stalk support the Cannon crew, or assign them to protect a different path.

Currently, there are 8 groups of 15 Natives attacking the town; 3 have remained outside the town walls and are in a firefight with the defenders on the wall, while 5 have entered the town. You may assign a single group of defenders to repel a single group of natives. 1 group of natives can be repelled by the cannon crew.

The party may feel free to engage a single group of natives themselves.

Any group of natives inside the town that is NOT repelled by defenders will be free to roam the town and wreak havoc. This may result in the destruction of property, the loss of settler lives, or destruction of colony supplies.

"This is all your fault! You were supposed to keep her safe and watch her back! What the fuck is wrong with you?! Where the fuck were you when this happened? Why didn't you save her!"
>>574125
"I don't fucking care! Just bring her back; I don't care how! Just let me talk to her again! Let me say goodbye! I never even got a fucking chance to say goodbye!"
>>574117
"I don't need your shit or your sympathy! I need her! Come back Justicia! Come back!"
He slumps to the ground, sobbing as he holds her body close.
"Please… don't leave me…" he whimpers, stroking what's left of her mane as he sobs his heart out.

574131

>>574129
Tear up, but there's not much I can say that will help him now.

574132

>>574129
Sigh and just stay silent.

574136

>>574129
"There was no saving her life. I am sorry."

574140

>>574129
I just smile at him and try to comfort his back.
"

574149

>>574131
>>574132
Captain Cutter flies up, bleeding profusely from a gash in his chest as he throws you a salute.
"Enemy has been routed, ma'am. Their forces were routed with minimal… Oh."
He falls silent and hangs his head at this scene for but a moment.
"Ma'am, I hate to interupt such a scene, but… she is not the only casualty, and several of the buildings are on fire. If we don't put the flames out, all of that work will be lost."
>>574136
>>574140
He doesn't hear you, tears pouring down his face as he sobs, clutching the body close as smoke begins to scar this beautifully perfect day.

574151

>>574149
Sigh and get up.
"Point me to the buildings, I will help."

574154

>>574149
"Get all pegasi and fliers, put those flames out. Whoever can haul water is needed too….

How many?"

574156

>>574149
Just stick next to the young lad. He needs the company.

574159

>>574149
>>574154
"I will fly."

574165

>>574149
Oh dear.
Go find some water and buckets to help with the effort. '1d10'

Roll #1 7 = 7

574166

>>574151
>>574159
Back around the corpse of the firedrake is where most of the buildings are burning. Shouts are going up as pegasi carry buckets from the ocean to dump on the flames; they would use clouds, but there aren't any to be found.
>>574154
"The Center and Right held strong, only losing two ponies each. The Left, however, got hit pretty hard, losing half of their number.
If it is any consolation, the natives suffered heavy casualties, especially among the groups that attacked the cannon. They won't be back anytime soon."
>>574165
You join the assembly line hauling water, dumping your first load when Feather Dancer flies up to you, his feathers now blazing as if they are on fire.
"Hey," the pegasus from earlier asks quietly as he dumps his own bucket, "what's your name?"

574167

>>574166
"Krystal Styles. I'm new here.. um just a moment."
"Feather Dance.. what happened to you?" '1d10' use animal mastery to understand her better if needed.

Roll #1 4 = 4

574168

>>574166
I will help immediately. I'm strong, I can fly back and forth with filled buckets no problem

Roll #1 4 = 4

574169

>>574167
Hard to tell… she kinda looks like that firedrake actually. Her feathers look like flames, but feel the same as ever as you pet them.
"I'm Redstone," he responds as you both go back for more water. "I'm… I'm sorry about your friend."

574170

>>574168
This is all true. However, buckets of water can only do so much; the fires show no sign of slowing down.

574171

>>574169
Frown "actually I didn't know her. My only friend right now is my hawk, Feather Dancer, I'm only just now arriving here in Horton."

574172

>>574170
Keep doing it, what else am I to do?

Roll #1 3 = 3

574173

>>574171
"Oh. Well… Do you… maybe want to be my friend? I understand if you don't…"
>>574172
Without any clouds? Not much.
Should probably wait for Sylt with his Weather thing before continuing. I'm mostly just filling Andelia in.

574174

>>574173
"Well, you defended me in the battle. When you had no reason to trust me aside from us both shooting at the sane target." Smile and whisper. "I'd be a fool not to give you a try. Maybe you can convince the mayor to make you my escort instead of that brute I met at first."

574175

>>574174
He blushes and smiles back. "I-I'd like that… O-okay, I'll talk to her and see what I can do."
"Hey newbie," you hear a voice behind you call. "You gonna chat with mares all day, or you gonna- why, hello there."
A slightly pinkish Earthie mare walks into your field of vision.
"And just who are you, huh? I haven't seen you around before."

574176

>>574175
Smile at him go and sigh a bit at the pink made.
"Krystal Styles. I'm new. Just got here before the battle. And this is Feather Dance. She.. wasn't always on fire.."

574177

>>574176
"Cool," she remarks as she glances at Feather. "I'm Ruby, newbie's overseer while he learns the ropes. Ain't that right, newbie?"
She ribs Redstone, who just grunts and splays his ears back submissively. "That's true."
"Darn right it's true. So, Krystal, you thinking about joining the militia? Oh, of course you are. Go talk with Cloud Cutter and ask to be assigned to Ruby, got it? I like the look of you; with some training, you'll go far."

574178

>>574177
"Wait a second. Why would I join the militia? Do you always fight off natives with giant monster pets?"

574179

>>574178
"No, usually we just protect the work crews. But isn't this a good reason to join the militia? I mean, if they get through the walls like that and you're not trained to fight, you're dead. At least if you're in the militia, you can fight back."

574180

>>574179
"Hmm well I know how to shoot pretty well already. And feather usually keeps them busy for me. Of course, its better to avoid big problems. Gotta pay attention to your surroundings." I remark

574181

>>574180
Headed to dinner. Can continue later if you want.

574182

>>574181
okay

574183

>>574182
still around?

575548

The natives have been pushed back, but there's still several fires that need to get put out! Everyone who can, get a bucket and start hauling water!

BLUE SKIES
"Well," your sister Clouded Skies remarks dryly, "this is a problem."
As weather ponies, it would be your job to gather clouds to help dump some rain on these fires. Problem is, it's a bright sunny day today without a cloud to be seen.

575549

>>575548
I need someplace alone.
Quick.
"Boon, I can put out the fires but nobody has to see I did it."

575550

>>575548
I'm great at hauling heavy things!

Roll #1 6 = 6

575551

>>575548
"The nearest cloud factory is thousands of miles away, so you may have a point there. Let's just get down there to help haul buckets instead before everything gets torched."
Glide down and grab a bucket or two to start hauling water back and fro.

575552

>>575549
"Right. There's a lot of smoke around the corner there; I'll run interference, but do yer thing quick."
>>575550
Indeed you are! Carrying a heavier bucket than most pegasi lets you help fight the flames back on one of the buildings.
>>575551
Roll to see how well you and your sister do without your usual method of extinguishing flames.

575553

>>575552
Nod and rush away in silence.
Let's hope it works this time.
Make it rain.

Join the colonies they said.
It'll be nice and exotic they said.

Roll #1 2, 10 = 12

If my wings were stronger, I could carry more buckets with their help…

Roll #1 3 = 3

575556

>>575552
"So what does the millita have in store for a sharp-shooting made like me?" I smirk at the pink made trying to recruit me.

575558

>>575554
Carrying buckets while in flight is hard; aiming them correctly is even harder! The wind manages to carry most of your bucket's water away from the flames. Luckily, your sister angles her bucket correctly and effectively puts out the flames right at their base. Guess we know which sibling is more skilled, don't we?
>>575553
Almost… Making clouds out of nothing is hard. You only manage to get a few to show up before you have to stop and take a breath.
>>575556
"Adventure, opportunity, and a paycheck for doing what everyone here already has to do. All in all, pretty sweet deal."
She smirks and smacks the stallion on the flank, making him yelp and jump in the air, spreading his large wings and getting a single flap that brushes your side before he folds them back up, scowling at her.
"The company's not bad either."

575559

>>575558
It's that old war wound causing me grief!
"Ever considered a firefighting career?"

Roll #1 8, 6 = 14

575560

Cough away the smoke and take a breath with my head low, just one more time, just one more chance to try again and stop this before the town is in flames…
Damnit I hope the others aren't being as useless as I am…

Roll #1 8 = 8

575561

>>575558
Look surprised at her boldness. "Things are really different here, huh? But it does sound like a good fit. "

575563

>>575555
Yeah, but even with the recent boost to their strength, they lack much in the way of endurance.
>>575559
"No. You'd follow me into it to try and prove you could to, and you'd get yourself killed."
Working together, you finish extinguishing the first building. Four more to go!
Clouded Skies looks up and frowns in confusion. "What the…"
Suddenly, a shadow falls over you and the entire town, right before a light rain starts falling.
>>575560
That's it… Using those first clouds as a starting template, you make them expand outward until the entire sky is gray. Then, a light rain begins to fall, soon evolving into a decent rainfall that starts to clear the smoke and put out the fires.
>>575561
"You bet it is! Go talk to Captain Cutter and ask to get assigned to Ruby, got it? I look forward to working with you~"
With that, she goes off to help put out the fires, casting a glance back over her shoulder and smiling.
Redstone sighs and rubs his flank.
"You don't have to if you don't want to. Ruby's just… domineering like that. She can't force you to join."

575564

>>575563
Finally sigh, and fall to the ground, spent.

575566

>>575563
"Hmmm. Now where did that come from? Aw nevermind, come on. Let's gather these clouds up and concentrate the rain where its needed."
Take flight and start moving clouds together above where its burning. '1d10+2'

Roll #1 6 + 2 = 8

575567

>>575563
Smile kindly at Redstone "she's right about me being more of a fighter than some other ponies." I smirk." Besides. How else will I get a chance to repay your kindness."

575568

>>575563
Thank you nature.
The fires are out… I must check on the doctor and wheat fields

575569

>>575564
In an instant, Boon's by your side, lifting you up onto his broad shoulders.
"Come on, let's get ye home. Ye earned a rest."
>>575566
This is just what you needed to finish putting the fires out! The second building's saved, and the fires at the other three are already beginning to sputter out.
"Seems a bit too fortunate to be a coincidence. Think one of the mages did it?"
>>575567
He blushes and smiles shyly, kicking at the dirt with one hoof.
"Aw, I was just doing my job… besides, I wouldn't have been able to forgive myself if you got hurt."
>>575568
The doctor is running around like a chicken without it's head, trying to treat all the injured.
Wheat Fields is just leaning on her spear, looking more tired than you've ever seen her before. She looks up with a wan smile as you approach.
"Heya. Guess we won, didn't we?"

575571

>>575569
Groan and smile at him as he comes to my aid.
I don't really need to be carried, but… This is too comfy~

575573

>>575569
"It's not natural, you're right about that. Unicorns messing around with the weather, what kind of world do we live in?"
I chuckle.

575575

>>575569
Nudge him a bit. "Then you'll just have to stay by my side on missions to make sure. "

575576

>>575569
"Yes. The fire demon is dead."
Walk up to her and give her a hug.
"I am happy you are not hurt. Some ponies died."

575581

>>575571
He carries you all the way to your shared home, mercifully untouched by the attack. Slogging through the falling rain, he shuts the door behind him and sets you down gently.
"Ye just sit tight, ye hear? I'll be right back with some towels."
>>575575
"T-that would be great…"
He jumps and blushes harder.
"-A great idea I mean! Because then we could protect each other. I mean we could work together. I… Um… funny weather today, huh?"
Indeed. There wasn't a cloud in the sky before, and now it's suddenly pouring.
>>575573
She sighs and shakes her head.
"Come on, let's make sure this doesn't turn into a thunderstorm. The last thing we need right now is to be dealing with lightning strikes."
>>575576
She returns the hug with far more force then usual.
"I know… I was so scared, Ambrosia. It was… there was so much noise and blood everywhere, and then that horrible bird came…
C-can we go somewhere to get out of this stupid rain?"

575583

>>575581
Smile at him and fall down on a chair, breathing slowly.
In a low, playful voice add
"Don't tell anyone, okay?"

575585

>>575581
"Aye. These ponies are running scared enough as is."
Let's start breaking up this cloud formation so it's not so packed tight anymore. The sun will do the rest in time.

Roll #1 7 + 2 = 9

575586

>>575581
"Yes. I wish to check on my home and garden. It may have been damaged."

575593

>>575581
Shrug at that "better than water buckets. This means we are done and can go see captain cutter together?

575597

>>575583
"Our little secret," he concedes, returning with some towels and diligently beginning to dry you off, ignoring his own soaked fur.
"Yer something else, sweetheart. Don't know how this town would get by without ye. Sure know I couldn't."
>>575586
"Well then, let's go!" she chirps, seeming to regain some of her former chipperness as you both head back to your home.
However, her hoof never leaves yours for so much as a second.
>>575585
As quickly as the downpour begins, you bring it to an end, it's mission accomplished. Though there is still smoke rising here and there, the majority of the buildings have been saved.
>>575593
"S-sure. He's right over there. You… want me to come with you?"
You can see Captain Cutter directing the creation of a makeshift barrier where the town gates once stood.

575599

>>575597
I-Is it still standing? Is my garden okay?

575600

>>575597
"Good hustle, sis. Give yourself a pat on the back."

575601

>>575597
Sigh and take his hoof. "Yes I'm sure. "
Walk over to cutter.

575604

>>575597
Drag him close and dry him back.
"You did great while I wasn't here yet…"

575608

>>575599
There's some charring on the roof, but other than that the house is perfectly okay. Your garden's a little trampled in one corner, but other than that it's fine too.
Though there is a mysterious bloodtrail that ends at that strange plant…
>>575600
She gives you a flat look and sighs.
"Come on, hotshot. I'll bet there are some ponies I need to help while you're busy stroking your ego."
>>575601
He comes along with you rather eagerly, though he keeps his head low to try and hide his blush.
the captain looks up and sighs at your approach.
"Look, I know he's cute, but if you're asking permission to take him off for a romantic getaway, you'll just have to wait until we're not trying to recover from an attack."
>>575604
"I didn't know what I was missing. Now I do."
He gives you a kiss on the beak and smiles warmly.
"Ye just rest now. I'll go get started on dinner for ye."

575610

>>575608
Is Dog okay?
And a bloodtrail? investigate

Roll #1 8 = 8

575611

>>575608
"That's not fair, you worked just as hard as I did tonight…"
Then quickly gasp.
"J-justicia…
I had almost forgot…"

575614

>>575608
"Get to the clinic then, my beloved sister. They must be waiting on you even now."

575615

>>575608
Chuckle and move my red mane out of my face, letting light shine on my white fur and red gem eyes. "no. I actually want to join up.. to work with redstone and ruby."

575618

>>575610
Dog is standing inside, barking at you as his tail wags happily.
The bloodtrail ends right at the end of the plant's reach… and there's an abandoned spear decorated with tribal markings nearby, also covered in blood. From the look of it, whoever was bleeding was trying to claw their way away…
"Ambrosia? Can we go inside yet? I need to talk to you about something…"
>>575611
His legs embrace you immediately as he gently hushes you.
"There weren't nothing to be done. Don't think about it right now; you've had a long day and need yer rest."
>>575614
She nods and dives down to help Sweetherb tend to the injured, leaving you on your own. Where to?
>>575615
He blinks, then smiles. "A gem-eyed pony? Haven't seen a fellow Crystal crossbreed in a while. Welcome to Horton.
Wait… you're volunteering… to serve under Ruby? Have you actually met the mare? She can be rather domineering."

575620

>>575618
"Yes, Wheat Fields."
that's strange… go inside though

575621

>>575618
Groan softly, almost weeping, into his shoulder.
"I want you by my side right now…"

575623

>>575618
Did all tribals retreat? No prisoners?

575624

>>575618
"Thank you its been.. a bad day to be a new pony, as for Ruby. She seems very enthusatic. And a group needs a strong leader in battle."

575626

>>575620
As soon as you're inside, Field is flitting around, oohing and ahhing at your abode.
"Wow, this place is great! And almost completely untouched too! You're really lucky, Ambrosia!
Heck, we're all pretty lucky! Want to celebrate?"
>>575621
He holds you tight and starts gently rocking you.
"Shh… I'm right here, darling. I ain't going anywhere… just let it go.
I'm here for ye, no matter what."
>>575623
Just the one mare taken from the attempt on the mayor's life. She's currently holed up in the clinic with the rescuee.
>>575624
"So you've met her. Okay, just making sure. I'll write you into the roster later; for now, the two of you help put up that barricade.
And Krystal? Welcome aboard. We need all the good ponies we can get. I'm glad to have you with us."

575627

>>575626
"Thank you. I like it very much too."
Cock my head at her.
"How to celebrate?"

575629

>>575626
Well, unless someone needs help with heavy lifting, I'm going to see if I can get a drink from the bar.

575630

>>575626
Let's dry each other and wait a while, just cuddling.
"We should check on our other friends…"

575632

>>575626
"I'm a pretty good worker. Even with my leg like this. Don't worry. "
Head to the barricade area.
"So.. that went well Redstone. Your boss is nice."

575633

>>575627
She smiles somewhat strangely… nervously? as she flutters close to you… really close.
"Well… we celebrate with each other, of course! I'm alive, you're alive… let's be alive together!"
She chuckles nervously and shakes her head.
"Okay, that sounded way cornier than it did in my head, so I'm just going to go for it."
With that, her lips are suddenly gently pressing against yours. What do?
>>575630
"Later. Ye've worked yerself to exhaustion today; a good night's sleep will do ye good."
>>575632
"Who, Cutter? Yeah, he's an okay guy, as long as you're willing to help and not creating more problems. Trust me, though, he's good at his job."
With a little difficulty, Redstone lifts one end of a log. Roll to see how well you manage to lift the other end.
>>575629
Figworth gives you a nod as you enter.
"Drinks are on the house for militiamembers today. What you need?"

575648

He gives you an appraising look, then nods.
"Okay then. Damn, sweetheart, I don't know how you do it, but you look like you've just had a normal walk in the woods after all that mess."
>>575637
You're legs fine, your extra care to keep the weight off it paying off as you lift your end with ease.
"So, I guess we're going to be working together now," Redstone comments as you carry the log to the barricade.
>>575638
"Coming right up!"
After a moment, he brings you your drink, then leans on the counter.
"So, strange weather today. Know anything about that?"
>>575643
She pulls away and grins sheepishly, leaving her hooves on your sides.
"I… I know this is sudden, but after today-
I need to get this out in the open, while I still have the chance. You see, I… oh, this is so wierd… I find you really attractive. Like, really really attractive. Moreso than most other ponies. I want to… well, to be with you, while we still have time, you know?
So, um… what do you say?"

575650

>>575648
"I am the weatherpony, so I noticed that. I don't know where those clouds came from, but it sure wasn't natural. I'll ask one of the mages once things calmed down."

575651

>>575648
"It was enjoyable. I did not know you liked mares."

575652

>>575648
"That's the plan at least. I'll watch out that ruby doesn't pick on you too much. And you'll cover me while I shoot the bad guys."

575653

>>575648
"Yeah, well, blame what we call a normal walk in the woods."
Chuckle and plant a kiss on his cheek before leaving throught the front door.
What condition is the town in?

575656

>>575650
"Hmn… that's what I figured. I didn't know Sticksen knew weather manipulation spells… maybe it was that Justicia girl? By the way, have you seen her? There's something I wanted to discuss with her."
>>575651
"I don't like mares, I like you! Doesn't matter to me what you've got down under; either's fun for me!
Wait, you enjoyed it? Want to do it again?"
She smiles eagerly, leaning in close.
>>575652
"She's not that bad… she just likes teasing me for some reason."
He grins and sighs as you put the log in place.
"Anyway, I look forward to working with you further. Come on, let's get the next log."
>>575653
Other than the five or so charred buildings and the busted gates, the town is relatively fine structurally. Ponies are running everywhere, busy with this or that. The area around the gates is filled with corpses, all but a few of which are natives. The town made a good showing for itself.

575658

>>575656
Justicia's dead. I should make sure nobody else of my friends is…
Let's go to the doc.

575659

>>575656
Lean backwards in my chair and sigh.
"Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I hear she died. I think that big… dragon thing got her."

575660

>>575656
"… Yes. I enjoyed it a lot. I like you too, Wheat Fields. I like you very much."

575661

>>575658
She's running from injured pony to injured pony, giving what care she can before moving on. A female pegasus is following behind her, giving more thorough care at a much slower pace, but only to those with the worst injuries.
"Hello, Julia. Still in one piece?"
>>575659
His expression falls.
"I see. I am sorry for bringing it up."
He snorts as he starts cleaning glasses.
"Too many settlers perished today. We can't let this happen again."
>>575660
"Great!"
With that, she tackles you to the ground, pressing her lips against yours in a much more passionate kiss; this time, she doesn't let up.

575662

>>575661
Nod quickly.
"Not gonna get in your way doc.
I just want to see…
The other ones."

575663

>>575661
"Well, I honestly didn't know her very well. Still, I agree. Maybe some retaliation is in order, though they probably lost most of their fighters already."

She grimaces and shakes her head.
"Still sorting them out at the moment; the four I've found here are laid out over there."
She jerks her head towards a white sheet with four lumps beneath it.
"Not sure about the other parts yet; still patching up injuries here. These ponies got hit hard."
>>575663
"Indeed… though in order to retaliate, one must first know where they came from. There is so much about them that is still unknown. We need to learn as much as we can about them before we can plan a counterstrike."
>>575665
You stumble a bit, only saved by his quick intervention. As he comes to your rescue, your hooves accidentally touch.
He gulps as you both gently set the log down.
"Right… let's find something else to do.
And… okay. Friends." He smiles and holds out a hoof.
>>575664
Good, because there's a lot she wants to do to you.
Fade to black?

575668

>>575667
"Thanks for doing your best, doc."
Smile at her.
Let's go to those ponies.

575669

>>575667
"I hear we got two tribals over at the clinic. I'm sure they know more."

575670

>>575667
I'm not afraid of getting dirty, but fade to black is fine too

575671

>>575668
The shroud obscures their faces, but you can sorta make out their forms underneath.
Boon doesn't say anything, just slowly pulls the shroud back.
Some of these ponies look like they died in pain, their expressions frozen in a grimace… But none of their faces are familiar.
>>575670
Her tongue pries it's way into your mouth, pulling you deeper and deeper into the kiss as her hooves begin to roam over your body. She moans a little as she begins rubbing your flanks, sending tingles up your spine.
>>575669
"That would be the place to start… though I'm not sure how you'd interrogate them when you can't speak their language."

575672

>>575667
"You just keep saving me.. this stupid leg.."
Smile.and accept his hoof. "Friends. Not bad for a first day right?"

575673

>>575671
Stay silent for a while.
"What of… That mare we brought here? Where is she?"

575674

>>575671
"They're ponies like us. That language must have come from somewhere. Maybe it's related to a language back in the old world."

575675

>>575672
He warmly returns the smile. "Not bad at all.
Now, uh, not to pressure you or anything, but… maybe we can help with something else?"
>>575673
"…Blaze is… still mourning. I thought it best to leave him be for now. Times like that, you want the chance to grieve alone."
>>575674
"Mebbe… I'll leave that to the professionals though."
With that, he wanders off to serve the other patrons.

575676

>>575671
Relax under her grip and meet her tongue with my own. Let her take the lead and decide the pace though

575677

>>575675
What's blaze got to do with the tribal mare?

575678

>>575675
"Right.. what else is there to do?"
Look for a new activity '1d10'

Roll #1 9 = 9

575679

>>575675
Drink up my brandy. I want to go see one of these mages in town.

575680

>>575677
Oh, her! The tribal mares are back at the clinic.
I thought you were talking about… you know… the one you brought here… dead bodies…
>>575678
"There's plenty that needs doing… Why don't we help cover up the holes in those buildings? They're just covering them with tarps; shouldn't be too hard on your leg."
>>575679
Sticksen is with the cannon crew, muttering disinterestedly as she scribbles away at her notepad, heedless of the carnage just in front of her. Looks like the natives who attacked this position didn't last long. Celery Stalk is nowhere to be found.

575681

>>575680
I didn't bring here Justicia's dead body.
Too busy to save the town.
Let's go over there.

575682

>>575680
"Miss Stones. You look well."

575683

>>575676
The pace seems to be "full speed ahead," as she pries your legs apart and starts rubbing herself against your crotch as she wraps her hooves around you.
Breaking the kiss, she smiles down at you.
"This… haah… this is new to you, isn't it? Don't worry… I've done this before…"
With that, she starts trailing kisses down your neck, interspersing them with random nips that keep you on edge as you never know what to expect next.

575684

>>575680
"Sounds easy enough." Pull a tarp over a hole. '1d10'

Roll #1 1 = 1

575685

>>575683
"Not new to me…"
Try to keep my breathing in check while observing what she does.

575686

>>575681
The mare you rescued is covered in bandages, but seems well enough to sit up and glare at the other mare, who cowers in the corner under guard.
>>575682
"Oh, hello Captain. Time for the artillery yet? Can't remember, fireballs, or lightning bolts?"
>>575684
You fall into the hole and manage to tangle yourself up in the tarp.
"Hang on, Krystal, I'll get you out of there!" '1d10'

Roll #1 3 = 3

575687

>>575686
"I don't like this…"
Approach the mare I rescued.
"Hey. Do you remember me?"
Can I commune with her shadow again?

575688

>>575684
>>575686
A few moments later, he too is stuck in the tarp. Though a few chuckles can be heard, nopony makes a move to help the two of you.

575689

>>575686
"Captain? Did I get promoted without anyone telling me?"
Put a hoof under her chin and raise her head up to face me.
"The fighting is done."

575690

>>575685
"Is that so? Well, then… let's see if you know this move~" She sticks her hoof between your crotch and begins searching around inside your folds, quickly locating your clit. She starts playing with it as she continues to grind against you.
"So tell me, Amby," she croons as she nips at your shoulder, "How often do you preen your wings?"

575691

>>575689
She blinks and frowns.
"You're not Cutter. What are you doing here?"
She glances over at the carnage.
"Oh right. Moved on to analysing the discharge from the firedrake. Unusual, most unusual…"
>>575687
Sure thing. You've done it before, you can do it again.
You beat them! How did you manage to drive off the firebird without magitillery?

575692

>>575691
"Tell me, did you notice the rainstorm that magically appeared earlier?"

575693

>>575691
"Gosh how am I even supposed to explain that…
We…"
Make a shooting motion with my talons?

575694

>>575690
"I am not very good with preening. But I try."
Try to remain unfazed and neutral by what she's doing to me [1d10]

Roll #1 5 = 5

575695

>>575686
>>575688
Rub my head. "Uh. Maybe if we.." try to free him. '1d10'

Roll #1 8 = 8

575696

>>575693
She cocks her head and looks at Bessie.
You used blasters? But why don't yours leave trails? They make so much noise and smoke; doesn't it hurt your ears?
>>575695
After some rolling, jiggling, and awkward positioning, you manage to get him free; though he's currently standing above you.
"…Wow."
He shakes his head and gets to work trying to free you too. '1d10'
>>575692
"Hmn? Yes, very nice storm-summoning spell; no aura, so non-unicorn caster. Didn't know we had a weathermage in the colony. Must say hello sometime."

Roll #1 5 = 5

575697

>>575696
Shrug.
"You get used to it…"
We can't go on like this.
Point at the other mare and look at the one I found with a questioning expression.

575698

>>575696
"It wasn't you? Now that's interesting."

575699

>>575694
You poker face only barely cracks, though she's quick to notice.
"I suppose I have your attention now, hmn? Don't worry, you don't need to do a thing~"
Her hoof runs down the small of your back, right where your wings connect to the body, sending an overload of feedback to your brain as your wings instinctively unfurl. Grabbing hold of one, she pulls it into reach, giving you a devious grin…
Before beginning to suckle gently on the tip of it as she continues to grind into you, building up a thin lather of sweat in the process.

575700

>>575696
"Maybe I'm just bad luck.." I sigh

575701

>>575699
"Yes. You have my full attention."
Swallow and slowly close my eyes, letting myself get caught up in the moment.

575702

>>575698
"No, no, no. I am a mage; that is an enviromental spell; nature magic, if you will. Totally different fields of study."
>>575700
"I wouldn't say that," he lets slip without thinking, then covering his mouth and blushing.
With some more awkward touching and pulling and pushing, you finally get free, though with your fur a bit fuzzier than before.
>>575697
Her expression darkens as she hauks and spits at the mare.
Raiders and tyrants, murderers every one! They come every year seeking captives; the lucky ones become slaves worked to death for their precious empire. The unlucky are used for their sick rituals and sacrifices to the sun, and to their masters. Scum not worth the air they breathe!

575703

>>575702
Wince.
"I think I got it…"
Turn to Boon.
"We oughta separate these two. Right now!"

575704

>>575702
Cough a bit. And whistle to feather dance. "Hey girl help me straighten up?" '1d10' bird brushie

Roll #1 8 = 8

575705

>>575702
"Do you know anyone who does practice natural magic?"

575706

>>575701
Losing yourself becomes easy as her lips and tongue slowly work their way down your wing, setting fires that only intensify the inferno building in your loins as she rides you with reckless abandon. By the time she reaches the bottom and gives a final nip at the center of the wing-connection, it's hard to move anything at all.
"E…enjoying… yourself?.. Haaaaah…"
Sounds like your not the only one getting lost in the moment.

575707

>>575703
He nods.
"I think she made her point."
The guard drags the other mare out of the room and somewhere else in the building.
>>575704
With Feather helping, your fur is combed out in no time.
"Dang," Redstone sighs wistfully. "I wish preening was that easy."
He looks at his skewed feathers and sighs.
"This is going to take me an hour to straighten out…"
>>575705
"Yes. Not in this colony, though. A pity; real shame that. Could use one. Will have to write to college about it. Write… to… College… there!"

575708

>>575707
"Do you think there's anyone who could help us talk with her?
I mean, I can understand her, but she can't understand us…"

575709

>>575707
"What about your colleague? Celery Stalk?"

575710

>>575706
"Yes… Very much… It is… pleasing."
Keep my eyes closed and bite my lip.

575711

>>575707
"Well, I guess I could help. I mean.. I've done feather dancer's before for shows.. it can't be that different.." '1d10' try to help him.

Roll #1 1 = 1

575712

>>575708
"Well, the mayor might be a better pony to ask about that than me…"
>>575709
"Hmn… his field in bioarcana is too specialized; focus on love energy, not weather."
>>575711
You end up slipping, biting down hard on the spot right between the wingjoints. His entire body goes limp as he falls to the ground limply.
"N-n-not there! not there!"
Ruby smirks at the two of you as she walks in.
"Oh my~ I always knew you liked it rough, Redstone, but that's a whole nother level of kinky."

575713

>>575710
"Don't… be afraid… to give back~…"
Her grinding begins to grow a bit more desperate.

575714

>>575712
"Right. But she's probably real busy right now…"
But she does have an assistant!
Tell the mare to come with us. Let's go to the donkey.

575715

>>575712
"Well, I suppose this whole thing will remain shrouded in mystery for now. The mysterious weatherpony of Horton. Perhaps it will evolve into a legend."

575716

>>575713
My eyes shoot open as she says that.
"What do you wish me to do?"

575717

>>575714
She follows you obediently out onto the recent battlefield, where you find Geneva helping shore up the battlements.
"Hello, you two. Can I help… oh, hello there! Nice to meet you."
>>575715
"Yes, very nice. Please leave now."
She wanders off, still muttering and scratching in her notebook.

575718

>>575717
"I need a mage or someone capable of translating for us."

575719

>>575716
"You said… you'd done this before? Why don't you… show me what you know?~"
Her wingtips start idly toying with your teats, tickling and pinching them as sweat drips from her quivering body.

575720

>>575717
Fine. … Does she have a nice flank on her?

575721

>>575718
You'll need the mayor to complete this.
>>575720
Roll to check it out without looking like a perv.

575722

>>575721
Oh gee.
Guess I will just go to bed.

575723

>>575721
If it's that hard to notice, it's not worth noticing at all.
Maybe I'll go see those tribals instead. I doubt I'll be able to find anything out, but that's not the point.

575724

>>575719
"Okay."
Push her over onto her back and kiss her on the mouth, then move down to kiss and bite her neck softly.

575725

>>575722
Boon gently helps you into bed.
"I'll be right up with yer dinner."
He heads out and into the kitchen. Soon, you can smell the familiar scent of his cooking.
>>575723
It's not that she doesn't have a nice flank, it's that ponies might notice if you start openly leering at a mare's flanks.
You find one of the tribals inside the townhouse under guard.

575726

>>575725
I meant in real life!
I still have lots of things to do in the day!

575727

>>575724
She moans in surprise, running her hooves up and down your wings and back.
"Ooooh~ I guess… you really have done this before…"

575728

>>575725
She walked past and away from me, can't be that hard to look at her as she goes.
"This is the evil one?"

575729

>>575712
I blush intensely and back off pulling his feathers out of my mouth. "umm this isn't what it looks like."

575730

>>575727
Don't answer and just continue kissing and nibbling, slowly going south.

575731

>>575726
Oh. Then yeah, it's past midnight for you. Go to bed.
>>575728
"I guess," the guard shrugs. "Something about their headbands? You ask me, we should just shoot them all and be done with it."
>>575729
It takes him a few moments to compose himself enough to sit up, blushing furiously the whole time.
"Oh, don't worry sweetie, you're secret's safe with me~
So, I hear you signed up under me, yes? That means I'm your boss now."

575732

>>575730
Her moans grow louder as she realizes what you intend to do.
"Oh… oh yes… D-don't hold back!~"

575733

>>575731
What does the tribal look like?
"Not if we can use them to find out what their deal is. Why are there ponies here already? How long have they been around? Where did they come from?"

575734

>>575732
Stop to take a look at her southernmost parts.

575735

>>575731
"Yep. That means you have one more sharp shooting made on your team." I say still blushing.

575736

>>575733
She's not that bad-looking, aside from the ugly lump on the back of her head. Wide hips and thick flanks, too.
"Why bother? As long as they don't mess with us, there's no point."
>>575735
"Good," she says, looking you up and down as she walks around you. "I look forward to it.
Now to establish some ground rules: I'm in charge, no ifs, ands, or buts. If I give an order, you follow it. If I tell you to do something, you do it on the double. If I say you have gorgeous eyes, you will simply accept the compliment and act like nothing out of the ordinary happened. Are we clear?"

575737

>>575734
Her folds are already parted and winking, bearing a soft sheen over the light pink flesh; she's practically dripping, the fur around her nethers soaked with your juices as well as hers. She shivers as you breathe on it, making it wink rapidly as she whines.
"P-please… d-don't tease me~… I can't control myself when you tease me~…"

575738

>>575736
"My friend, you should think ahead. We are a single settlement now, but how many of us will there be in this new world in a few decades? We will need to expand. And by expanding we are bound to step on the toes of these tribal ponies. The ones who attacked us are obviously no good, but the others might. They might have valuable knowledge of these lands. They could be our allies against…"
Just look at the tribal mare.

575739

>>575738
She shifts nervously as you stare at her, making her flanks jiggle a bit as she looks away.
"I suppose… I just don't think we need to deal with it. If they're smart, they'll just stay out of our way."

575740

>>575739
Shake my head. Can't imagine how terrified and confused she must be.
"Fear and hatred can often cloud the minds of ponies. If we don't deal with this, we will continue to be at a disadvantage in these lands. They clearly know it far better than we do."

575741

>>575737
Lean forward and get to work on her folds, while using my hooves to gently massage her teats in the meantime.

575742

>>575741
"Hngh… Aaaaah!~ Oh fuck, Amby… oh, fuck… haah…"
She contracts rythmically as you attend to her folds, stuffing both hooves over her mouth in a vain attempt to stiffle her moans, shuddering and arching her back as you start playing with her teats.

575743

>>575740
She glances at you cautiously, though she still keeps herself pressed small into the corner.
"Look, you want to talk to her? Relieve me and take over guarding her. Here, you'll need this."
He holds out his spear.

575744

>>575743
"I won't be able to understand a thing what she has to say."
Wave away his offer to give me his spear.
"And I don't use spears either."

575745

>>575742
I remember what she was doing to me earlier. Find her nub and suck on it very gently. Time for the final strike.

575746

>>575745
She squeals and kicks her hindlegs ineffectually, shuddering and instinctively thrusting into your face. Any attempt she makes at giving a coherent response devolves into a cry of ecstasy, her hindlegs wrapping around the back of your head…
Until she rolls over and throws you off, taking a moment to just lie on the ground and gasp for air before she begins propping herself up.
"F-fuck, Amby… n-nearly made me cum right then and there…"
Turning herself around, she scoots under you and wraps her hindlegs around your head once more.
"T-there," she coos, her hot breath on your entrance making you start trickle fluids, "N-now I can… return the favor~"

575747

>>575744
He shrugs, then leans back against the wall.
"Ain't no skin off my back. Now you want to waste more of my time, or you gonna leave already?"

575748

>>575747
"Waste your time you would rather spend doing… what exactly?"
I smirk at him, then look at the tribal again.
"Don't worry, we'll figure this out somehow."

575749

>>575746
"This positioning seems time efficient."

575750

>>575749
She responds by diving right in, burying her muzzle inside you as she flicks her tongue left, right, up, down, and everywhere in between as she mashes her lips up and down against your nethers, one hoof spreading your folds wide for easier access while the other pinches and tugs at your teats, her wings tracing up and down your sides as she gives your clit a teasing flick with her tongue.

575751

>>575750
Well… I better get to work too then, to please her even more.

575753

"Yeah, sure we will. Now get going."
Where to now?

575754

>>575751
>>575752
79/100
Oh my~
As you both lie there covered in each other's juices, she pushes you off from where you collapsed on top of her and smirks tiredly at you.
"I won… take that, you… sexy mare… fuck, I'm too buzzed up right now… to think up clever dirtytalk…"
She falls back and pants for air.
"Well… that was fun. Wanna do it again?"

575755

>>575753
"You militias sure are rude."
Let's go see if my sister is in need of help.

575756

>>575754
"… Yes. If you wish to do it every day I would not complain."

575757

>>575755
She doesn't even glance up from the mare with a huge chunk of charred flesh on her side.
"Run out of flanks to stare at, brother?"

575758

>>575756
"Damn girl. You're almost as horny as me!"
Rolling over, she smirks as she pulls you into another kiss.
"Just give me a few minutes to catch my breath~"

575759

>>575757
Grimace slightly.
"How many people live in this colony, sis?"

575760

>>575758
"Okay. I am eager to please you, Wheat Fields."

575761

>>575759
"Fewer than there were yesterday. I'm trying to keep that number from dropping any lower."
>>575760
"Oh, eager are you? Have you ever hear of scissoring?~"
Her hoof starts to part your folds again.

575762

>>575761
"How many casualties so far?"

575763

>>575761
Stare at her and nod slowly.
"Yes."

575764

>>575763
She grins widely and hooks arms with you.
"Then let's get started~"
Wrapping her hindleg over yours and behind you, her own sopping folds mash against yours as she pulls her body close to yours.
"Now, tell me what you are going to do next."

>>575762
"Nine dead, still tallying the injured. If I don't treat some of the more serious injuries soon, that number will start rising."
The mare screams as her charred flesh starts peeling, slowly replacing itself with new, fresh skin.

575765

>>575764
"I dread to ask, but can I help somehow? Aside from not bothering you, I mean."

575766

>>575764
Give her a neutral look.
"I remember the term 'clam slamming' being used in the past."

575767

>>575765
"I'm fine, but Sweetherb is running herself ragged. Take these bandages and start patching up whatever minor injuries you can find; even that might be enough to lighten her workload enough to keep her from passing out."
>>575766
She giggles and lightly cuffs your shoulder.
"Geez, and I though I was horrible at dirty talk! Come on, grab hold and start- *snerk!* -slamming! Heeheeheeheehmm… oooh yeah…"
She starts thrusting and grinding into you, the feeling of her folds dragging against your cooch sending lightning up and down your spine as she starts to establish a rhythm.

575768

>>575767
"Sounds easy enough."
Accept the bandages and take off. See to whoever I can find with minor wounds that only need bandages. Probably cuts, scrapes and minor burn wounds.

575769

>>575767
Comply to her rhythm and follow her lead obediently. Rub and grind my lips against hers, using our natural lubrication for easy movement.

575770

>>575768
There's a lot of ponies fitting that description. Still, you do the best you can.
>>575769
She grins and starts picking up speed, slipping a hoof over both your folds to start rubbing at your clit as the mashing continues.
"Mmm~ Been a while since I've done this~"

575771

>>575770
"For me too. It is nice to do it again. It is even nicer to do it with you"

575772

>>575771
"Agreed. You're better at this than I was expecting~"
She has to strain to pull it off, but she manages to lock lips with you for a few moments before she has to pull back and refocus on grinding into you.
Both your hindlegs and hers are soaked with sweat and other fluids, a mix of your combined juices trickling down your leg and onto the floor, where it begins to pool.

575773

>>575772
I'm going to have to clean this place later…
But that is a worry for later, for now I'm content to follow her lead and pacing.
"You are very good too, Wheat Fields."

575774

>>575773
She tosses her head back and moans, wrapping her legs around you so she can just grind deeply into you.
"F-fuck, Amby… how do you stay composed like that? You've got… Nngh~… serious discipline…"

575775

>>575774
"I don't know if you have noticed, but I don't show my enthusiasm for things quite in the same way other ponies do."

575776

>>575775
"I notiAAAH! Haah! haah… d-do that again!"
Her movements are starting to lose coordination as she grinds rougher and more sporatically against you, her panting for breath occasionally interrupted by a moan.
"F-fuck… this is intense…"
Her wings spread and begin trailing up and down against you.

575777

>>575776
"Yes. I have culminated twice now. I also feel a continuation of this trend coming up soon."

Hearing this, her eyes widen as she throws her head back, pounding against you as she gushes fluids onto you and cries out to the sky. Her movements falter for but a moment before she grits her teeth and gets right back at it, whimpering as she continues grinding her oversenstitive folds into yours.
"Oh fuck," she chants quietly, like a mantra, "Oh fuck… oh fuck… oh fuck…"

She clings to you as if her life depended on it, peppering your neck with kisses and nips as she desperately rubs her entire body against yours, seeking to create as much physical contact as she can. You can feel her moaning into your neck as her folds continue to convulse.

Finally exhausted, she just lays there limply and moans into your mouth.
When the kiss breaks, she just clings to you limply, gasping for air in great big gulps, making wet squishing noises as she shifts against you.
"F-fuck… n-not many can outlast me… and you're not even winded! You must be… some kinda machine or something…"
She moans and shifts against you again.
"We are going to be so sore in the morning."

"Yes… but it was nice. I will not regret it."
Rest my head against her.
"We will require a bath."

She chuckles tiredly and ruffles your mane.
"Yeah… I won't regret it either."
She pulls you in for another kiss, this one soft and gentle rather than passionate.
"But right now, let's just… stay here together like this. We can always go wash up later."

"Okay, Wheat Fields."
