>Last time on Luna Quest
>During your flight to the Badlands, talking to the group helped to pass the time
>Luna tells you about the plan to visit the Dragon Empire that guards Tartarus and reminds you of Gold Heart's importance as ambassador
>Celestia, tired from the flight, informs you of how to behave around the dragons
>Gold Heart tells you pretty much the same, but disciplines you for a comment about Thorn and your behavior during a free fall
>You back out on a plan to tease Lucent and you all make camp in the Badlands
>While Celestia, Luna, and the Elements of Harmony discuss further plans, you decide to help out Lucent and Baron with setting up camp
>After a conversation with Lucent about yourself and the relationship between Lucent and Baron
>Your conversation is cut short after you injure your hand and Lucent takes you to get patched up
>Celestia pulls you away for the conversation she mentioned to you earlier and Lucent goes back to helping Baron

Current Affection Levels

Luna - New Friends
Lucent - New Friends
Gold Heart - Upper-Low
Celestia - Low

Celestia guides you back to her tent which doesn't look much different from the others around it. It's the same white color as the others, but much larger. She slips inside and you follow her inside. Small glowing lights cast into lanterns illuminate the tent. In the center of the tent is a large, round table with a map of Equestria in the center. There aren't any small figures around it, but there is a path drawn out from the Badlands and across a larger forested area beyond the mountains. It's clear that you still have a long way to go. There are other various scrolls, but all of them are sealed. The other sections of the tent are separated by layers of white tarp, probably the bedrooms or some other private area.

Celestia turns to you from the opposite side of the table and says, "I would like to discuss your relationship with my sister. Tell me, how exactly would you define it?"

Friends, we've talked a bit and she has helped shed some light on that nightmare I had.

504379

>>504373
I have only known her for a few days, but I would call her my friend.

Is it time to spill spaghetti everywhere?

504381

I roll my d20 to see if I successfully fuck my waifu.

"Friends, we've talked a bit and she has helped shed some light on that nightmare I had."

Celestia smiles a little and lets out a soft sigh.

"Thank you," Celestia says. "I'll admit, I overheard your conversation with her during our flight and it had me a little worried."

Celstia's smile fades again and she stares down at the map.

"After her thousand year imprisonment," Celestia continues. "I was afraid she would have trouble adjusting to life in Equestria. It's been a few years since her return, and though I've encouraged her to make friends, it's become clear she hasn't made much of an effort. She's having much more fun than I remember, but she remains distant. Seeing her with you, puts some of my worries at ease."

Yes, time for Luna sex.

504389

>>504382
She is quite an entertaining pers- pony to be around.
I'm actually surprised how fast all of you accepted me, seeing how I don't even come from this world.

>I overheard your conversation with her during our flight and it had me a little worried

For a second I was worried she disapproved of us talking about dreamwielding bondage adventures with her sister.

"She is quite an entertaining pers- pony to be around. I'm actually surprised how fast all of you accepted me, seeing how I don't even come from this world."

"I've never believed that where you came from dictated how you should be treated," Celestia says, "but being a little cautious can go a long way. I'm sorry if you've been mistreated since you've been here."

Celestia unravels a scroll using a bit of magic form her horn.

"Speaking of which," she says as her eyes roam over the parchment, "I know your goal is to return to your own world with our help, but as long as you're here, I'd like to ask you a favor."

Placing the scroll back down on the table, Celestia casts a stern glare in your direction.

"So long as you continue your journey home," she says, "I would ask that you remain friends with Luna. Do you understand?"

504401

>>504400
Not an issue, I can do that.

504404

>>504400
You won't have to ask me twice.

504406

>>504400
Uh. Friendship's a not really something you just do because you've been told to.
But I like her, and I don't really see that changing so I guess that's not a problem.

"Not an issue, I can do that."

"Thank you again," she says with a smile as she walks over to you. "I'm hoping that maybe if she makes a real friend, even if just for a little while, she'll want to get out and socialize a bit more on her own. You may not be here for long, but I want you to do the best you can."

>>504406

"Uh. Friendship's a not really something you just do because you've been told to.
But I like her, and I don't really see that changing so I guess that's not a problem."

"I know that," Celestia frowns. "This isn't my first attempt at helping another to build friendship. I've tried other things with Luna, but I'm afraid if things don't change soon, she may go back to her old ways."

504416

>>504410
… what exactly do you mean with old ways?

>>504416

"There was a time when Luna had gone to a very dark place in her life," Celestia explains. "It was during that time she became the entity known as Nightmare Moon. In an attempt to save her, I ended up sealing her away inside the moon for one thousand years. The magic of friendship and the Elements of Harmony are what restored her to her original form. I'm hoping that friendship will prevent the past from repeating itself, but as you said, friendship can't be forced."

504425

>>504421
Well, I definitely wouldn't want that to happen again.

What's with the card on the table? I assume it shows the planned route to Tartarus?

"Well, I definitely wouldn't want that to happen again.

What's with the card on the table? I assume it shows the planned route to Tartarus?"

"Yes," Celestia says, turning towards the map. "It's only a partial map. I don't believe the Dragon Empire itself has ever been mapped out before, though I believe they prefer it that way. Another one of the many reasons we need Gold Heart. The purpose she serves is much greater than you'd imagine."

Celestia draws a line over the map using some magic from her horn. The line goes from the Badlands and cuts over the Appaloosan Mountains. It's a straight path from here to what's marked as the Royal Guard Watchtower.

"When we fly out again sometime in the morning," she informs you, "our next destination will be the Watchtower. From there, we can rest up once more, gather more troops from there and Knight's Peak, and then make the longer flight towards the Dragon Empire."

504439

>>504434
Does that line go through the desert/Discord battlefied, the Forest of Leota, or somewhere else?

"Does that line go through the desert/Discord battlefied, the Forest of Leota, or somewhere else?"

"We'll be passing over the Forest of Leota," Celestia explains, "but we'll be trying to keep a fair distance from the site of the battle of Discord."

504450

Assuming all goes well, how long will the two legs of the journey take?

Are there other players here? I'm kind f beat since I was accounting for us starting 3 hours ago, and that was late for me to begin with.

504451

>>504440
Is there any reason why we take the route through the Forest of Leota? It sounds like it will take longer than just rushing next to it through the plains.

504455

>>504450
I'm trying to do too many things at once, practicing trumpet and guitar, reading the quest while also hatching eggs.

We can always just do this another day.

504458

>>504455
Well, stop breeding pokemons and breed Luna instead

504461

>>504457
I'm here too, so we are three people (or four including you) I guess.
But if two of them don't have time me can as well just wait a little bit longer to see if some people join in or move it to another date, running a quest for just one person seems like kind of a waste on your side

Very well. I'll put it on hold for another week. With any luck there'll be more traffic on episode day.

Don't worry. You won't be getting anything fancy like that from me. I know nothing about computer stuff and coding nonsense.

504470

>>504468
That was just quicker than checking by hand if you altered the picture in any way.
